Great machine for simple stitches

Very poor machine

I bought this thinking that Singer, a formerly reliable company, would not put out a bad product. Unfortunately, I was wrong! No matter what number the tension dial is on, the stitching underneath is never right. The machine is plastic and difficult to take apart. We are told that the bobbin tension is preset at factory. Right now this machine is useless to me. Waste of money. I haveca Featherweight that is still working beautifully. So disappointed in Singer!!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I love this machine!

This is an amazing machine for a beginner - I love the "maps" on it, telling how to fill the bobbin, and how to thread the machine - just follow the map and you don't have to look up directions each time you change thread or fill a bobbin! The clear cover on the bobbin case is another plus - you can see how much bobbin thread is left, and won't run out as a "surprise". Very nice features, I would recommend this to a new sewist.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Fantastic sewing machine it's something I have needed for quite a while now I have not had a sewing machine in more than 5 years I use he's so a lot a few years ago now that I have a new sewing machine and she's very easy to use it comes with instructions it shows us great decision it is easy to put the bobbits I am going to start working it's definitely going to make things easier for me no matter if it is hemming some pants or making a quilt

It has a lot of extras included so you don’t have to purchase separately. I definitely recommend if you are looking for a nice machine that you don’t have to read a book to use.
