It is an upgrade from the 3, no doubt. The ability to open basically with one hand. Magnetic. Being able to kickstand more than one way is also another nice feature. So far, so good!

This thing is perfect. Always on and hearty. I let me two year old play with my phone without *much* fear of it breaking. He loves taking things apart, so that says a lot! Charges great on my apple mag charger. Sticks like crazy to mag mounts.

Coming from the 3, it is a lot stronger, no plastic to snap back into place, the magnet works great. In case of my 3 it was a gift and lasted around 6 months, but my wife has the luxe since it came out and no problems, still strong.

Pros:
- Slim design
- Secured with adhesive and magnet
- doubles as kickstand

Cons:
- I haven’t tested the durability but seems like it could break with too much tension
- You better pray you’re happy with wherever you put it, because that’s where it’s staying forever
- The kickstand can collapse if moved in the wrong direction
