The mechanism that pops up bent and broke within a week of me using this. Love the concept but they need to work on the quality of the material

Like the grip itself and the actual function of it

First time I've tried this finger grip style attachment on a phone, and actually really like how it works when using. I knocked off the stars because the claim is you can charge without removing this, but mine doesn't so I don't like having to take it off every day to charge. The other slight downside is that the magnet feature isn't very strong, several objects I have tried it on the phone very slowly slides down the surface over time.

I love the idea of the snap ring but unfortunately I have large fingers and struggle to get two under the ring when it is extended. Even then it is only to the second knuckle. Forget putting a single finger thru the middle. I want toLove it but it needs to be larger.

Weak magnets and no charge-through

I absolutely loves everything about the Snap Grop 4 Lux, but I decided to give the Gen 5 a try because of the new color options. I'm sad to say that I'm disappointed. The magnet strength that connects the grip to your phone is spot on, but the strength of the magnets to connect the phone/grip to your mount is weak. I'm even using OhSnap's Car Mount, when when I'm driving and hit a bump, the phone/grip comes loose from the mount and falls on the floor. Also, I can't wireless charge the phone anymore with the grip still attached. Yes, I know that one of the big selling features of the Gen 5 grip is no more adhesive, so you can take the grip off any time you want, but this feature doesn't interest me, and the wireless charging worked just fine with the Gen 4. It's annoying having to take the grip off every night to charge, then remembering to put it back on in the morning. Make the outside magnets just as strong as they were on the Gen 4, and I'll give this 5 stars.

Not what I thought it would be. The commercial was great and that is what sold me.

I've had one of these on the same phone and case for at 3 years, and one of the attachments finally broke. I'm very hard on my equipment, especially my phone. Even though it'ssuper thin and flexible, it's extremely durable.I will never buy another brand!

Although I love the concept of the ohsnap-grip it did not feel comfortable at all in my hands or even my wife’s. When I placed it on the wireless charger it had a hard time staying charging, probably due to my case. I appreciate the thinness of it but it just was not for me.

Miss old design

I’m not a fan of this new design. It may be great for others, but I couldn’t find anyone to give it to. After one day, they’d give it back and say that it was uncomfortable and hard to use. So in the box of unused technology accessories it goes!
