Smooth

I’ve had another poop for years. It’s similar but different enough it takes a little time to get used to. It does move very smooth and it is thin as described!

Long time PopSocket user who is switching to a "MagSafe" system. I first tried PopSocket's magnet ring solution, but found it to be a bulky on the back of my phone and very disappointed that I have to remove it every time I need to mount it to another magnetic mount/stand. Grrr! Then I was recommended the SnapGrip 5 by someone on facebook because it never needs to be removed, which is fantastic! My only real issues are that the grip itself is 1) not very comfortable on my fingers (compared to PopSocket), 2) more difficult to pop out with 1 hand, and 3) feels really flimsy. You really need to be diligent and careful when grabbing it to ensure it is secure on your fingers so as not to drop the phone. However, once its secure, its definitely not going anywhere. Overall, it does technically meet my needs, but its just not comfortable. One last thing, it cannot be really used as a kickstand (horizontally) - it just falls over flat and it also cannot stay in an open position on its own. So, when you lay your phone down, you WILL have to open up the SnapGrip again to grab it. Kind of annoying.

I don't buy stuff just because I feel like spending money or an impulse buy!! I like to research things and find third party reviews and so worth it!!! It does everything I need and low profile is amazing considering what it can do! Total BUY....

They wore me down with the relentless adverts about this grip. Lives up to the hype. I don’t use it much for typing but for watching and scrolling it’s perfect.

Pretty solid little addition

I love the product for what its real purpose is, works really well. Only thing is that the pass through charging doesn’t work on large wireless charging pads. Maybe it’s just my case but doesn’t seem to work with the case off either. Also my finger is too fat for the single finger mode but I like the two finger mode better anyway

Best solution to holding a phone both in your hands and with a car mount. I also like that it has a stand feature. Great work guys!!

I fell in love with this device right away. The problem is it came off pretty easily. A few times I saw it and reattached. The last time I don’t know where it went and I was very disappointed because I think I’d only had it a week. I bought a replacement, but if o lose this one too, it’ll be my last. Too expensive to be disposable. If you drop your phone it WILL detach so beware. Also I found the metal edges of the hinging mechanism to be a bit sharp on my fingers. Not a deal breaker though. The kickstand feature was silly. It’s ROUND. Duh, it won’t see steadily on edge. But again, I didn’t buy it for that.

A definitive downgrade from the Snap Grip 4 Luxe

I've had Snap Grips for a while now and they have always been great for me until I tried the 5. It is perhaps the worst phone grip I have used out of the bunch that I've tried. One of the primary functions of the grip is it's magnetization and this one fails so much that it's unreasonable. While it does function as a good grip for your fingers, it does not stay on metallic surfaces like the 4 Luxe does. I tried to put it on my fridge as I was cooking and it just slid down. Then, after I had taken it off, the grip detached from my phone and stuck to the fridge! I had to use the extra adhesive to keep it from doing that but I should not have to do that with a MagBak case! The ball has been dropped with the 5 and it's disappointing because I truly enjoyed the Snap series. I ordered 2 more of the 4 Luxe at the same time I ordered the 5 and they both work wonderfully.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
