4th Generation was better

I loved and still use my 4th gen version. Thought maybe the r 5 would be better but it was quite opposite. -magnets don’t stick very good -iPhone pro (not the max) would slide down metal surfaces when stuck-snap grip would come off my phone since there’s no adhesive-the plastics on the grip would fold in on itself and not close right -grip would not stay locked when not in use Overall this version reminds me of the 1st or 2nd gen. I tried both and had a horrible experience. Gave this company another shot for the 4th and thought they did amazing with that. Now this 5th gen let me down.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Snap Grip 4 > everything else. I love the stick & peel, very sturdy and trustworthy in the highest of altitudes when I need it the most too.

V4 vs V5

I'm only complaint is the strength of the magnet from the Grip to other surfaces. The strength of the Grip to the phone is perfect. I had the Grip 4 previously, and never had the same issues sticking to magnetic surfaces. Even the Ohsnap wireless charging stand barely holds on, however the Grip 4 held just fine.I bought two Grip 5s, so I dont know if I just got a bad batch or not, but it's possible.

I saw a Facebook ad for this grip and thought it was a great idea. My fav points of sale were the magnet part so it could stick to my fridge while I’m cooking, and the pass through charging. So far, it’s lived mostly up to its promises. My only complaint is that when I received it the packaging said that it doesn’t have pass through charging. But the ad that pulled me in definitely said pass through charging. So, that’s a super bummer. But, otherwise, very helpful and I’ve dropped my phone a lot less!
