Cool grip

Love the grip, but magnet doesn't seem as strong as the Grip 4.

Thin, but impossible to operate one handed

I really like how thin the grip is, and once holding it, it's quite comfortable. However, I cannot manage to take my phone out of my pocket, open both sides of the grip to get a finger on either side, and then be able to use my phone without using my second hand. This for me, is a deal breaker, so I am ending up using a different magsafe grip.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I want to love this product but the lack of a good strong connection with my iOttie MagSafe car mount and Anker charging block in my home leave me wanting. It has not fallen off the iOttie car mount but it does not snap on the way the iPhone did before putting the Snap Grip 5 on the phone. As for the Anker charger in the house the magnetic connection seems even weaker and the iPhone does not charge as quickly leading me to believe the Snap Grip 5 is not allowing for a good connection. As an aid in holding my iPhone in my hand the Snap Grip 5 works as advertised and I love that aspect of this product.

Nice improvements but weak on magnet

I like the improvement on not needing the adhesive to keep it on the phone. The issue is now when you put it on anything like metal or magsafe charger. The magnet is weak and gets knocked off easily. The old one was strong and stuck firmly

Okay, some faults

I really wanted to like this. I love how thin it is and its ability to use the magsafe through it. I like the kick stand ability.The faults, The color isn't as I expected. The pink online looks like a very light powder pink but its darker and is more of a purple pink in person. The magnetic power is much weaker through the grip to stick to magsafe products. The extension of the disc doesn't naturally go out as far as I would like so it can be finicky to slide you fingers behind. (And I have small girl fingers)

Good but falls off car mount

I started with the grip 4 and loved it. I bought the car mount to go with it. Never had a problem with the 4. When I upgraded to the 5 on my new phone, I was pleased with the grip itself and the option to remove it. It attaches to my Pixel Snap case and stays attached pretty well. I am disappointed with the way it attaches to the car mount. I am using the official OhSnap car mount so that's not the problem. The external attachment magnets that connect it to the car mount are just not as strong as the ones on the Snap Grip 4. It regularly falls off the magnetic mount which is a problem I never had with the 4.

Great Improvement

I like the new design with no need for the metal circle put on with adhesive. This holds securely to my Mag Safe case and is very slim. I do have to remove it to use my Apple magnetic charger; I have not tried it with an ohsnap charger.
I would recommend this to a friend!
