Works as advertised

Magnetic strength is incredible, modularity with Oh Snap charger awesome, I just wish the opening for fingers was a little bigger. I’m a large man and with large hands, my fingers barely fit in the openings and if I push them in too far the disc doesn’t retract easily or fully. I’ve been putting just the edge of one finger in for holding the phone and that seems to work fine. I was also a little disappointed to see a sale just a week later for almost 2/3 of what I paid.

Worse than snap grip Luxe

Just got this for Christmas to replace my snap grip luxe. I got a new phone case, same exact one just a different color. This grip is horrible. Will not even stay on my phone, just slides right off. The magnet is way worse, won’t hold my phone on charging stand, fridge, or anything. What happened?

The 4 is so much better

This pains me to say because I have had 2 of the version 4 snap grips and they were so much better than this version. While the 4s were more of a permanent because of the adhesive the magnets were so much stronger. While being able to remove this version is nice, unfortunately falls flat for me. Another issue I have run into using version 5 is sometimes the pop out part doesn't want to stick down and keep popping up for me.I loved the 4 because when i would stick a mag safe accessory to it, it would dang near almost grab it out of my hand. but this version is so weak that sometimes it hard to attach a magsafe accessory and when sticking to a magnetic surface more often then not it will start sliding. If you need something to be able to remove this isnt the worst option but if you dont mind have a permanent thing attached to your phone/case go with the snap grip 4.

Meh - Very Disappointed in the Durability in Only a Few Days

I've now used 3 iterations of the Snap Grip, and every time, it feels like they make a change for the better in one area...at the expense of a change for the worse in another. The Good: 1) Still super thin. If you're looking for minimal, this is pretty much as good as it gets. 2) Don't have to take it off to wirelessly charge, and it works with all my Qi2 chargers...not just my Snap ones. 3) Magnet to phone seems a bit better...the grip is stronger than the last set of Snap Grips I had. I used to be able to disengage my phone much more easily. The Bad: The external magnets are NOT as strong as they used to be. I've had my phone fall off my Magsafe car holder a few times in the last week while driving. In one case, I was simply making a turn at normal speed and my phone came off. It also doesn't grip as firmly to metal surfaces like previous versions (eg fridge while I'm prepping something in the kitchen or my weight rack while I'm lifting). The Ugly: The durability of the coating on the Snap Grip 5 is terrible. After only 5 days of normal use, my grip is already discoloring and showing signs of excessive wear. I bought 2 grips with my new phone - Overexposed and Silver Fox. The Overexposed colorway is already yellowing around the outer ring as well as inside where the middle disc sits - see a couple of attached pics. I have now switched to the Silver Fox grip to see if it fares any better. Extremely disappointed in this particular aspect because these grips aren't cheap. At this point, this may be the last time I buy a Snap Grip product.

Grip does not rotate as well as you guys show in the picture from day one I’ve been having problems with it even getting it to close properly doesn’t really fit my finger and doesn’t rotate that well but it’s very well-made except for the plastic in the middle that’s already broken for me. Definitely will be returning this one.

Not so good

I got the new Snap grip 5 to replace my original snap grip that binds up sometimes when I close it. The problem with the snap 5 it doesn’t stick to my snap car mount 2.0 as well as the original. It keeps falling off when I hit bumps and slides down metal surfaces unlike the original that would stick and not move. I removed my snap grip5 and will continue to use the original because it sticks so much better.

Great product so far

I purchased this product on Cyber Monday, and after 21 days of waiting, I finally received it. The product is just like it is advertised and works very well with the Google Pixel 10 Pro. No need for the Android accessory. The magnet is strong enough to hold the phone onto a metal surface with no problem. The hinges feel very flimsy, so I have concerns about whether it will hold up.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Inferior to the Snap4

Great concept, however, it just doesn't work as good as the Snap4. This one isn't consistent in most of my applications. My phone more frequently slides down gym equipment, it's harder to use my magsafe car mounts because the grip needs to be perfectly lined up with the mount before it sticks to it, and I have frequently found that the snap5 will detach from my phone and continue to stick to mounts or certain metals (not all the time but it happens alot). I'm willing to sacrifice magnetic charge through to keep the consistency of pretty much every other feature. Snap5 is ok, but Snap4 was the best and I think I'm going to switch back to it. You guys are doing a great job so please continue to innovate! This is still one of the best phone accessories on the market!!
