Batteries dead unable to charge

I purchased this mower as I had great experience with weed eater and no problems. This charger and batteries only worked several months. So disappointed and these batteries are substandard.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Beyond Expectations

After doing some research, I finally decided to purchase a battery powered lawn mower. Greenworks was recommended by a friend, and so far the mower has exceeded by expectations in every way. Power, battery life, and performance match any gas mower and seem to be better in many ways. I would recommend this mower for anyone who is switching from gas to electric. Completely satisfied with my purchase.

Evironmentally safe easy to use mower

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I tested this unit and found it was very light and easy to remove from the box. Assembly was quick just the handle which can be folded down when not in use. This unit comes with two quick charge 24-volt batteries. The charges is designed to charge both batteries at the same time. There is a key for safety in the battery compartment. The batteries are slotted so installation is easy. I liked the one push button on the deck to raise and lower height. Aftee the quick assembly there is one button on the handle just push and pull back lever at the same time as the unit starts you can just hold bar while you walk. The unit is very sturdy but extremely light great for small to medium size yards. The cut was even and the unit moved very easily through the grass due to the light weight. The bag is also a good feature I found the unit works great if you do not like to rake leaves. it's like having a vacuum and mower in one unit. A great price that will not disappoint.

So far so good. This model is improved from the smaller Greenworks model with one battery. It lifts easier to different trim heights. Wheel quality is plastic but maybe that will last. Power is decent, clogged a little with wet grass. Battery life did 2.5 lawns. Easier than dealing with gas, oil, spark plugs. I like how it folds up for storage.

Our old mower broke & we decided to go green for both Greenworks & for our environment. WE'RE SO GLAD WE DID! Our mower is so easy to use and start that my 12 year old can now safely mow our lawn. I love the LED lights, speed control and dual battery dock. It cuts grass consistently well and battery lasts long enough to do our lawn. I do recommend this company and mower to anyone that'll listen!

Does a great job cutting, however the battery life seems a little shorter than expected. Incredibly quiet. Slightly heavier than I thought, but easily maneuvered even with the power assist off. I’ve only used it twice, so battery life may be longer due to the learning curve with a new tool.
