[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am so happy with my Greenworks electric mower. I’m 64 year old lady cutting my own grass. The push button start is a God save. No oil, no gas to have to fill at the station. So lightweight too!!! Highly recommend.
Pros: Convenient, Cost-Saver, Easy to Use, Quiet, Effective

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My husband has been using this and he thinks it was a good purchase. The self-propelled motor is nice and battery lasts a while. No complaints here! "I dont think of it as a chore" he says.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have owned other cordless electric lawn mowers, but this beats them all. It is more powerful so it doesn't get bogged own and stalls out.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Mower Itself Is Great Battery Life Is Still Issue
on August 20, 2025

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So far, I’m happy with the mower in every aspect other than the battery life. I bought the mower based on my yard size and the only way I can get through with a single cut is not use the self propel and when it’s dry season where the grass is dry. Currently in summer I have to cut 1/2 of the yard, break and charge the battery for 30 min while I edge trim as the lush grass kills the battery and the mower strains to cut. I also cut weekly so it’s not like the grass is long. I thought about buying a pair of back batteries but the batteries costs as much as the mower. The idea of electric mower is great, the quality is decent.

Hello Kai69.
Thank you for sharing your experience with the 48V (2x24V) 21" Cordless Battery Self-Propelled Lawn Mower. We are glad to hear that you are satisfied with the mower’s overall quality and design.
We understand your frustration with the battery life, especially during the summer when grass is thick and lush. Battery performance can vary depending on factors like grass height, moisture, and terrain, so it is not uncommon to see shorter run times under heavier loads.
We realize that replacing or adding extra batteries can be costly, and we appreciate your perspective. Your feedback is valuable, and we will share it with our product team as we continue to improve battery performance and overall mower experience.
Thank you again for taking the time to provide detailed feedback. This mower is awful! It can't even mow .15 acres on one battery charge! Wish I would have never purchased this. Waste of time and money!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We are sorry to hear you are not fully happy with the runtime you are getting with the battery included. As we are not sure of the condition of your lawn, we are not exactly sure why the battery did not meet your expectations. The maximum runtime often applies to a relatively flat, open yard. Slopes and obstacles require more power, and users can expect running time to be less, if this is the case. Runtime measurements are also related to the condition of the grass and if it is well-maintained. Tall, thick grass requires more power, and you must mow it slower, consuming added runtime. Here are a few tips to ensure the max runtime is achieved. Ensure you charge the battery fully before each use, maintain the battery properly by cleaning terminals, avoid extreme temperatures during storage. Consider buying a second battery for larger lawns, this mower can be used with Greenworks 24V batteries. Mow in a straight line and choose a mower with a powerful battery suitable for your lawn size. If the grass has been left to exceed 4 inches, we advise that you raise the cutting height and cut no more than one-third of the length of grass at a time, wait a couple of days and do another one-third, cut when grass is dry and walk at steady pace to allow the blade to work more efficiently. Please note, users must use (2) fully charged Greenworks 24V battery packs. Do not use battery packs other than Greenworks 24V. Ensure both batteries are charged 100%. If each battery has a different charge state, the run-time of the machine is subject to the lowest powered battery (For example: one battery is charged 100%, and the other is charged 50%, the unit will only run until the 50% battery is depleted). When using (2) batteries with different amp hours (Ah), the machine will run until the lower (Ah) battery is depleted. As the lawn becomes consistently maintained you will see the cut and runtime improve. Hope these tips help!
