I purchased this to replace a gas blower. This is one of the best 80 volt battery operated blower on the market. Easy to use, I would recommend 2 batteries if you have a large property like mine.

The machine isn’t very strong blades of grass stay up. The mulching and suction seems to be less stronger than a gas power lawnmower. My wife seems to think it’s a play toy.

Hello Champo,
Thank you for your review. We are sorry to hear that you are not completely satisfied with this product. The issue with the cut can be many factors: grass is over 4 inches in height and too tall, the underside of the deck needs to be clean and clear of debris and the blades need to be replaced or sharpened seasonally. Here are some more cutting tips that may be beneficial:
1. Set the mower to the highest cutting height (or 1/3 of the length of grass), mow no more than 1/3 at a time. 2. Mow when grass is dry. 3. Mow in the morning or late afternoon to reduce the heat stress on newly cut grass. 4. Alternate mowing patterns each time you mow. As grass develops a grain based on your cutting direction it will lean towards the direction of your mowing path. Changing the pattern allows better vertical growth and helps to keep the cut neater. 5. New or thick grass may require a narrow cutting path. 6. For the best results keep the lawn under 4" in length and walk at a steady pace to allow the blades to cut efficiently.

My husband recently retired and decided he needed to do the yard work again. He had stopped because he had bad shoulders and could no longer pull the cord on the old lawn mower. He got his mower the other day and immediately started on the yard - he is happy and active again. Thank you
