First, confirm you are using the correct line diameter (typically .080" for many 80V models), as thicker or incompatible line can prevent proper feeding and make reloading much harder. When loading, make sure the line is fed evenly through both sides and wound tightly in the direction indicated on the head, loose or uneven winding is one of the most common causes of jams or poor performance. It is also important not to overfill the spool, as excess line can bind inside the housing. Before reinstalling, check that the spool cap, spring, and tabs are aligned correctly and that the housing is free of debris, since buildup can interfere with smooth operation.
