I bought the 80 volt, 5 amp, 21” version, earlier this spring. Maybe overkill on the volts and amps, but I did not want to risk under powering myself. I mow about a quarter acre, that’s all. But not one step of it is flat. I literally am 50% self-propelling uphill and 50% coasting in neutral downhill. I only use the slow speed b/c it’s fast enough, I’m retired, and never in a hurry! So, slow speed, self-propelled half the time, 1/4 acre, I never come close to running out of electricity. Other benefits. Nearest gas station is about 30 minutes away, so an e mower is good to have. When finished mowing, I can immediately hose the machine clean. No waiting for a hot engine to cool off. Then I roll the mower through my walk-out basement door and store it in my workshop. No gas, oil, grease inside the house. Ergonomics are great. Steel deck design felt like an advantage, in my old-school mindset. One lever easily adjusts all 4 wheel heights simultaneously. And I have to adjust for various parts of my mountain yard. Anything else? Easy to use, seems well-built. Never run out of power. I would again buy the the most muscular Greenworks mower I can afford.

Powerful yet easy to use

Fall is the time for leaf blowing. The Greenworks 80v leaf blower is awesome for the job. It replaced my gas leaf blower on wheels because it is almost as powerful but aiming the air stream is much easier and quicker, and controlling the intensity is just a press of a button. It doesn't choke me with smoke and I don't have to do maintenance on it. Since I have several Greenworks 80v tools and batteries, I can swap out batteries for non-stop , prolonged use. I also used this to dry my cars and motorcycles and clean my driveway. I always give high recommendations for these tools. That I can have environmentally friendly and superior yard tools make me a very happy customer!

Amazing Performance!!

I have always owned gas powered yard tools. This was my first and definitely won't be the last battery powered yard tool. The mower has amazing features. Easy to adjust wheel height, easy to remove and dump grass catcher, super easy start, automatically adjusts power to cut through taller, thicker grass, battery charge last through two times of cutting my front and back yard, battery recharges super fast, ability to bag, mulch or side discharge. I could go on and on. I love my mower and will be looking to add more battery powered yard tools.

Cuts great

I have used this to mow 3 times now. I am pleased with the cut. I bought just the tool figuring I could use the 80V battery that came with my Green works Cultivator. I can only get 12 minutes of running time with the mower, when using the self propel feature about 50% of that time. That is a disappointing runtime! It is hard to rate the mower without factoring in the battery inadequacies.

Works great for my smaller lawn

I got this when I bought my first home earlier this year. My yard is maybe a little over 1/4 acre, so I didn’t want a riding lawn mower for that. Plus I didn’t really have a place to put it and I sure didn’t want to have to deal with gas and oil for one. A battery powered mower was the way to go. I am very happy with the way it performs. I even got a few other products to use around my new home.
