My two main concerns were battery life and power. After using this for the past month, neither has been an issue at all. This has cut through anything I’ve used it for with no problem. It takes about 30 minutes to cut all of my lawn and that isn’t enough to even get the battery to half. I’m definitely impressed so far!

This was a late season purchase for me, but I've used it twice and am very happy with the versatility of the unit. The only down side is that the thicker stem weeds do take a minute to knock over, but they are so few and far between that it's not a problem.

I got the 80V because it works with my lawnmower and hedge trimmer but I’m not sure what the real difference is. It seems a bit long and unwieldy compared the my old plug-in electric edger. The guard also prevents it from trimming effectively so I basically don’t use it. It took a little learning curve to get the desired effect on my lawn, but I had been using the same plug in edger for years. It was easy to assemble and allows you to adjust the handle, though I felt like it is so heavy from the battery the handle adjustments still didn’t feel quite right. I am giving it another chance this weekend hopefully will be easier to use. Definitely heavier than a plug in electric model but nice to no longer have to get out the extension cords! Next all I need is the battery leaf blower!

I have a small level backyard lawn (~40'x60') plus a super small front lawn. I get 2 weeks of double cutting out of a charge. So nice to have a lightweight unit I can literally fold and hang on the wall.

Bought this mower last fall. It came ‘tool only’ and I couldn’t afford the battery and charger at the time. Love to review it. My 60 volt was brilliant till I hit a hidden stump and toasted it. Would like to know if the 80V can run with one battery or the two it’s slotted for. I also feel a little ‘bait and switched’ with the tool only. Love all my other Greenworks tools and would like to stick with you.

Long runtime. Can't handle thick lawns.

Been using this mower for two seasons. Two issues stand out. 1) It does not handle thick, 3" or more height when cutting. Leaves clumps of grass even when the bag is empty. 2) When the bag is only halfway full, it's enough at that point to block the discharge shoot, and stop anymore clippings from entering the bag. I constantly have to empty the bag well before it is full! It seems the clippings don't get discharged at a high enough velocity to push them further back into the bag!
Pros: Easy to Use, Quiet, Durable, Environmentally Safe

Hello JMatt64
Thank you for your review. We are very sorry to hear about this experience! In most cases this means either of two things. Depending on the length of the grass and when the last time it was cut the bag may fill up quickly. Another reason, why the grass not flowing into my bagger properly could be the collection bag is clogged. If the lining of your grass bag is clogged with old grass, you should clean it and once clean the air should flow through the grass bag more efficiently and improve the grass collection. Hope this suggestion helps! If you find that you are still experiencing issues, we would be more than happy to assist with further diagnosis. Really like this mower

I really like not having to worry about getting gasoline for this mower. It's quieter than my old mower, too. I just wish I hadn't lost the mulch plug and the side discharge chute. I think they went bye-bye with the box. I can't find these parts anywhere to replace them, either.
Pros: Convenient, Easy to Use, Quiet, Durable, Effective, Powerful
