Design flaw causes battery to self-eject always

The Pro model 80 volt blower (mine from Costco) has a serious flaw in which the shell surrounding the battery deforms allowing space for the battery to move away from the very shallow latch-point molded into the battery; strong ejection springs then pushing the battery into its removal position with no electrical contact.
Pros: Convenient, Effective, Powerful
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

80v leaf blower

Are use the Greenworks 80 V pro leaf blower every day. This is super durable, lightweight. Easy to use and I love the turbo function. And you will no longer smell like gas after using your leaf blower.

This snowblower is AWESOME!
This is my 2nd electric snowblower and even though the last one I had was a corded snow-joe, this greenworks one does a much better job. The snow we got this morning was the worst kind, heavy wet mush! I did my own home, charged it up, did a neighbors, charged again, and did the front sidewalk for 2 four-plexes and a tiny bit of their shared driveway before running out of juice. - We're talking 8+ inches everywhere.
This is my 2nd electric snowblower and even though the last one I had was a corded snow-joe, this greenworks one does a much better job. The snow we got this morning was the worst kind, heavy wet mush! I did my own home, charged it up, did a neighbors, charged again, and did the front sidewalk for 2 four-plexes and a tiny bit of their shared driveway before running out of juice. - We're talking 8+ inches everywhere.
The heaviest stuff (which was LITERALLY ice-mush) required some back-up and push forward, or angling the blower to take some off the top, but it handled all of it very well.
I'm so happy with my purchase. I will be buying a large capacity battery before next season so I can go straight through. If you decide to get this blower, get an extra battery too!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Unit needs more cfm blowing power. The hand held model does a better job of blowing. Unit still does a good at getting the job done without dealing with gas.

I own this blower and the 80V pro trimmer and edger and couldn't be happier i switched from gas to electric. Another plus finally a company that provides excellent customer service.

A Great Light-Duty Snowblower

Got this last fall and am very happy with purchase. Great little snow-blower for small amounts of snow, small driveways, and decks or walkways. It is powerful for it's size and light-weight. Feels very durable and high quality. I like that it uses the same battery as my lawnmower and is compact and easy to store. Drains roughly one 4Ah battery per 4" of dry snow on my 30ft 3 car garage driveway.
Living in Minnesota, old man winter has definitely put this little blower through it's paces. Website is accurate in that it handles up to 10 inches of DRY snow well, or about 6 inches of wet snow and 3 inches of slushy snow. Anything above those conditions and you have to sort of chip away at the snow with forward/backward motions and can be labor-intensive. Not fun using for the end of the driveway where the plow pushes up 1+ foot of compacted snow.
Overall this snowblower is a bit overwhelmed by harsh MN winter. It can get the job done for most snow events but don't rely on this for big storms. I just ordered the big boy 24" 2-stage Greenworks blower after tiring myself out in the last big snow storm and looking forward to using that next time. This 20" blower will still be great for smaller amounts of snow and as a light-duty support blower.

Snow Blower 22”

After a season , I don’t like the plastic skids on the bottom, they should be more adjustable they wore down after one season of use and now the bottom plate is wearing down too. Snowblower works well but should have metal adjustable skids

Not the best quality

I bought this a couple of years ago. It only works if there is a couple of inches of light snow. The battery won't charge in the garage. I have to charge the battery in the house. Every time I use it, some pieces fall off. The handle where you turn the chute fell off pretty fast. It won't screw back on. The top of the chute came off and won't stay on now.
Pros: Convenient, Quiet, Environmentally Safe
