Fantastic leaf blower

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was a replacement for my first leaf blower that failed. Came with battery and charger and has worked thru the year i have had it. This blower does the job and is easy to use.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Completely useless snow blower: 80V 20" Cordless B

Clogs up constantly and overwhelmed with 5" of snow. Return window has closed, so I am now stuck with a piece of equipment I cannot use. Additionally, I invested in batteries. So wasted several hundreds of dollars. "Thank you" Greenworks.
Pros: Easy to Use, Quiet
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

AMAZING CUSTOMER SERVICE

Just purchased on-line from a major supplier one of these snow blowers. The unit arrived yesterday with several issues that were the fault of the supplier and not the fault of Greenworks. I contacted Customer Service at Greenworks and the person I talked to was extremely courteous and took time to discuss the issues and the details of the order. Even though the issues were not the fault of Greenworks they went out of their way to correct all of them. I can't comment yet on the snow blower but once we get a chance to use it I will. I just wanted to comment on the great customer service we received. We have several other products from Greenworks and have never had a problem with any of them. Great products and a great company to do business with.

A little light and a little fast

I am happy with the purchase thus far but weight wise even with three batteries in place the unit is a little light. When going up against heavy snow the wheels just spin and I have to exert more manual labor to try an push through the load. The other issue I have is the speed of the unit. My gas powered was able to have a really low gear setting. This unit running even in its lowest setting (eco-mode) likes to run away. Other than this unit, I have a 60v Mower, and an 80v Mower, weed eater, blower, and a chainsaw. All of which I am very happy with.
Pros: Convenient, Cost-Saver, Quiet, Powerful

The self-propelled drive speed control switch, allows operators to select a comfortable driving speed. The unit give three (3) forward speeds and one (1) backward self-propelled and one (1) neutral. When you push the self-propelled drive paddle and
the auger engagement paddle at the same time, the auger engagement paddle will be temporarily locked.
When the pushing resistance of the whole machine becomes large or cannot be pushed, the user needs to check whether the unilateral wheel can be turned by hand when it is off the ground. If it can't be rotated easily, you need to disassemble the chassis bottom plate and unplug the motor cable. Manual promotion can be resumed at this time. Release the auger engagement paddle (right hand) and the auger engagement paddle will remain engaged. This feature allows you to adjust the auger speed, self propelling speed, and discharging direction of the snow while the auger rotates.
To stop the auger, release the self-propelled drive paddle and both the auger and the self-propel function will stop. (This information can also be found in the owner's manual.)

Fairly poor overall. Description - "Throws snow up to 20 feet." Better described as gauranteed snow will not go further than 20 feet. Typically the snow only goes 5 to 6 feet and this is light Utah powder - not sure what anyone with wet snow would get? 3 feet? The snow chute clogs regularly I had to stop to clear it out several times just doing my driveway. The base is quite clunky - lots of friction trying to push it across the driveway. With some practice I can almost get it to balance between too much friction against ground and lifting front too high up so it leaves a layer of snow on the drive but is able to move. Compared to my neighbors 35 year old gas powered snow blower (which works flawlessly - this is clunky and poor). This is my second snow season and I figured this year I should get my own snow blower - this isn't the one to get. I bought into the Greenworks tools and have 4 or 5 batteries now. I wanted the 22" snowblower but that is only available with more batteries, so I settled for this one -tool only.
Pros: Quiet
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This snow thrower can discharge up to 20' but this would be with light and fluffy snow. If the snow is wet, heavy, packed, or icy the discharge range will reduce significantly. When using any snow thrower on wet snow, there is a chance of clogging. Often, the reason for this is that the speed of the impeller causes wet snow/slush to freeze. For best use in heavy snow types, you will want to move less at once and move a little quicker. Once a full pass has been completed, only move about a third of the width of the unit with each pass going forward. This will help with the load acting against the unit and should hopefully assist in a more enjoyable user experience. Believe it or not, your chute can clog from simply not moving fast enough. As you move faster, the impeller pushes snow out with more force, hopefully throwing in further. It also helps to keep a tool nearby that can be used to poke the ice/snow down when it gets clogged. Never put a tool in while the unit is running and make sure the impeller has completely stopped moving first. 80v leaf blower backpack

I have been using this leaf blower specially this fall season, it works great but my only problem is the waist strap it is just enough only when I don't wear a jacket , now since it is very cold I have to wear a jacket and my waist strap is too short

Great leaf blower

This is a great leaf blower. I’m 75 yrs. old and I needed something that would work without having to rake leaves and light enough to operate. This is it! The only thing is I wish the battery lasted longer since I have a large backyard. I have a small 40V leaf blower and an 80V lawnmower by Greenworks and all perform well.
Pros: Easy to Use, Effective, Powerful
