Battery Scam, Really Slippery

Purchased the 80V 730 CFM Cordless Battery Leaf Blower w/ 2.5Ah Battery & Rapid Charger. Have another one I have had for a couple of years and they work fantastic. Greenworks makes excellent tools. The web site photo shows a full size extended run battery in the attached photo but it comes with a less expensive standard run battery. New way to save money?? If they need to make more profit then raise the price don't lower the quality but substituting a less expensive battery. This is beneath them. I would still recommend this tool but make sure the buyer knows what battery they are getting, quite a difference in performance. I have many Greenworks products and at least 7 batteries have never seen a "standard run battery before".

Pretty good but some key parts need to be more durable

I've had this for 2 months now with a variety of snow storms. Most recently had over a foot of very wet snow and had to clear it a couple of times as it snowed so it wouldn't be too deep for the snowblower. It handled it pretty well, had to clear the chute several times but that's too be expected. It was challenging pushing it uphill in deep snow but still got it done. I do our drive and several neighbors so I go through multiple charges. After cooling after each use, the batteries charge quickly.
My key issue is that after two months, the scrape plate has broken and the blades are starting to shred. Not sure why the scrapeplate is plastic but in my experience, it is not durable.
I'll be returning mine.

poor chute design but otherwise gets the job done

Sadly the top chute component is super janky, with the plastic top being too lightweight to hold in place when you seek to position it at a lower angle (and/or the plastic ridges that are supposed to hold it in place do nothing).
That said, the blower itself is pretty effective and makes quick work of our driveway. Super light, fluffy, and fine snow is tricky given the poor design of the chute, but we have still been able to accomplish what we need to in terms of snow removal with a variety of snow over the past couple months.

Not built to last more than 2 seasons

80V 20" Cordless Battery Single-Stage Snow Blower lasted only 2 seasons before the skids and the scraper wore out. Now the blower doesn’t even run. The PCB board is probably the problem, but greenworks does not have this part available. They recommended that I look for it on google. But I can’t find anyone who has one to sell.

Disappointment.

First time use of this snowblower. About 4 inches of snow. Not power but not particularly wet either. Blower could not handle it. Maybe this blower can handle 13 inches of powder as advertised. Remains to be seen. Init could not handle 4 inches of what I consider normal snow.

Defective Battery

Bought the snow blower and 2 batteries in the Fall of 2022. Didn't have to use it that Winter. Used it yesterday and one of the 2 batteries I bought is "defective". Snow blower is great, but not if it can't be powered. I need 2 batteries to cover the area.
Pros: Easy to Use, Environmentally Safe, Effective
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

When the battery will not be in use, we suggest storing it indoors, in a cool dry area - away from direct sunlight.
