Broken in less than 4 months.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this just over 90 days ago. The fan broke after a light amount of use. They will not do anything to replace it because it is past the 90 days. Do not recommend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very easy to change. Do it BEFORE it is worn to nothing. Keep a seasonal spare. Clean and slightly lube the keeper bearings when you change the kit. Your Greenworks blower will work happily for years to come.

Big Job To Replace The Impeller

What a disaster. The remove and replace video made this look so simple. Well it isn't an easy job. You will need a bearing puller to remove the two end bearings - they don't slip off easily. And the pulley requires a lot of force to remove.
This kit is just bad news. Why it isn't a full assembly is beyond me - this should include new bearings.
After struggling with the bearings, I realized the easiest method is to remove the rubber paddles from the new impeller and install it on the old hardware. No need to remove the bearings. Why they don't just sell the rubber paddles is beyond me.
The only real positive about this, a new belt and pulley are included, something that is good to replace. Oh, why they didn't include a new bolt, flat washer and lock washer is really a bad thing. Fresh lock compound on the bolt would have been nice (and the flat washer deforms badly).
The paddles were a perfect fit for the 22 inch MasterForce (from Menard's) snow blower.
Pros: Quiet
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Snow thrower combo snow shovel

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It took only 20 minutes to put everything together real simple then you need the instructions to put it together. Charge the battery took it outside and it chewed up the snow like no other very quiet lights are bright moves the snow very well. I’m glad I bought this product. I also have the combo lawnmower, weed, whip, and blower and also a great product to know the thing that only took a half hour to put together works very well. I like to green work products and I will keep buying green work. Products is my next thing is the power washer

Handles the snow quite well, but only used on 5 inches of fluffy snow.

It's quiet compare to gas and much easier to start.
I would like the chute to rotate at least 240 degrees to handle corners better. I now have to go back and clean up what it throws to the sides of the driveway or walk-way to the street.
240 degrees would also help to not blow snow directly up-wind.
I would like the lights to come on only when activated.
The halogen lamp on my gas snow blower doesn't collect as much snow, and what it does collect, melts. Not so for the LEDs on the Greenworks unit. I haven't used it a night yet so I wish the LEDs were separately controlled - not related to turning the unit on. (I don't need lights during the day, and I assume they consume more battery.)
It will take some getting used to because when you let go of both handle controls it shuts down, and the controls are opposite hands from my gas model.
The shave plate gets right down to the concrete, but that means it also stops if the next section of concrete is raised a bit (like each side-walk section). It should work okay on blacktop.
It is a lot lighter and more maneuverable than my Craftsman gas snow blower.
My wife is even interested in using it.
