Trigger switch is not up to the task

Bought this blower just a year ago, and it had served me well when it worked properly. Some months ago, however, the trigger switch started acting up - no allowing me to squeeze all the way. Upon taking apart the handle, I saw it's using a Chinese CPXTE 61-20P switch, which has been worn out pretty badly, and one cannot find a replacement part for it. So, now the blower is dead until I figure out a workaround. Greenworks' Engineering needs to do better on this - perhaps using a semiconductor switch instead.
Pros: Convenient, Easy to Use, Quiet, Environmentally Safe
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Really powerful blower, but could be improved

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Blower run time is 50% of what is claimed, unless you operate at much lower speed. Could use some improvement on the air intake screen area to reduce the annoying noise.

80V, 800 CFM leaf blower

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought the 8OV, 800 CFM leaf blowers. It works great but the speed/airflow reduces significantly when the battery reaches around 50%. And the battery only lasts around 8 minutes on normal high speed. There is a turbo mode, but that really reduces battery life. The weight with a 2.5 Amp-Hr battery is more than enough to make my arms feel the strain within the battery life. I've built up some muscle using it but still have to switch from hand to hand. One really needs 2 or 3 spare batteries with a fast charger if one has a large area to remove leaves. I use it without the reducer attachments for best results. I've tried it with a strap, but it reduces the motion one can turn the blowers for best results. I've rated it a 2, because the original product page indicated it could run 60 minutes at low speed (which I interpreted as non-turbo) on a fully charged 2.5 A-Hr battery. I big miss when it only lasts about 8 minutes.
Pros: Easy to Use, Effective

Thank you for sharing your experience with this 80V Blower. This unit does not have preset speeds, it has variable speed trigger. Holding down the trigger with the lightest force will generate the minimal speed provided from the unit. Holding down the trigger firmly will generate the 800 CFM. As stated in the product description, with a Greenworks 80V 2.5Ah battery, while lightly holding the trigger at low speed, you can get a runtime up to 60 mins.

Powerful and light

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought to blow leaves on 2 acre lawn surrounded by oaks. Great power moves large amount of leaves easily. Only down side is battery needs recharge after 30 min of continuous use. Recharges in an hour but if you have more than 30 min of work you will need another battery.
I would recommend this to a friend!
