[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Purchased for 78 year old parents as Christmas gift. They are picky and always refused to consider in the past since "they don't last long" "are too weak" or""don't want to deal with cords/gas"They tried it out and were more than impressed. Some reviews noted weight, they stated it was not too heavy and was not a concern.

I have many other units but this is the only one I will use now!!!!!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this model less than two months ago and at first was very happy with it. I've used it maybe 3 or 4 times and when my son turned it on today it made a horrible sound. Then a piece of the fan inside flew out. In less than two months it's useless. This thing almost took out his eye. I've been an avid Greenworks user but this thing is dangerous.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Blade broke on the first use.

Ordered two replacement blades last year for this season. The blade broke on the first use. The snow was not very thick and not very icy. Poor quality and poor design as others have noted. Need something more durable like metal!
