What a joy to use. We got the snow blower in December 2020 after the first heavy snowstorm of the year because we learned that we had not signed up in time for professional snow removal services. The snow blower assembled like a charm and worked like a charm on the next storm--eight inches of snowfall. And then again on a smaller amount of snow but heavy, wet snow. Go for it. We love the machine.

I've only had a chance to use the snow blower once so far, but I was very impressed. It worked really well on the powdery snow, though less so on the slushy and wet snow. It shoots the snow 5-8 feet making it more useful on narrower drives and paths. The battery lasted a good while and recharged in less than an hour. I'm glad we got it and def recommend.

Pros: Unit is light and has minimal bulk and works well ergonomically. Electric motor is much quieter and the reduced vibrations are less stressful on body during operation. Not having to deal with oil:gas mix ratios also a plus. Cons: Air velocity is a little underpowered when not in turbo mode. Battery life an issue as well, getting only 15-20 of operating time per full charge. Overall an effective tool but may not be efficient if you have a heavy leaf load.

I returned a lithium battery powered blower to get this Greenwork's Blower, battery & charger and hands down I'm so glad I did. First the charge last 3 times longer, second the charge time is 40 / 45 min. instead of 4 hours to recharge the other third it is a lot more slimline and lighter. Thanks Greenworks for helping this older gentleman take care of my 1/2 acre in Alta Loma, CA

Very good engendered snow blower ,but needs improvements.
1. wheels are too small and hard
2. You can only move 1st snow few hours later moist gets stock in the thrower. Then you look at your neighbors with gas powered and think what if I got gas powered.
3 FULLY CHARGED battery 80v 2ah lasted less 30 mnts. Brand new one. Needs important improvements.
4. Everything else is ok.

It can clear heavier snow fall but may require additional steps such as clearing the chute and adjusting the chute to accommodate the snow. It may require more than one passing.
