Such a Useful Tool!

We bought this leaf blower this Fall to save us from our annual chore to remove the leaves that thirteen large trees dump in our yard. We're in our sixties and live on a hill so this job has become increasingly difficult and can't be done with rakes and tarps. The Greenworks Backpack Blower did the job this year and even made this horrible chore fun! We used it again this winter when storm after storm covered a row of young evergreens with snow that might have broken their branches. Our Greenworks took care of that problem, too. We simply blew the snow off the trees saving them from damage from the snow load. The battery recharges quickly and lasts more than a half hour of continuous use.
This is one exceptional, powerful tool, especially for older folks who don't have the strength to haul around a heavy, backpack, gasoline-powered blower. It's lightweight, quiet, and easy to use. Highly recommended!

As strong as if not stronger than any gas blower I've ever used

I was told to avoid electric many times by my father. That I wouldn't get the power I need. Well after I brought this over to show him my new toy I can say he was sufficiently blown away (heh).
Love the different stages of power. It's light enough that I dont get worn out holding it for 20 minutes. Battery life is great.
Simple enough machine that packs a punch. Definitely satisfied.

My Greenworks Back Pack Blower is Great!
I put the battery in and touch the start button and go!
No Gasoline, No Oil , No Spark Plug.
And as on added bonus it’s super light weight and very quite. All my neighbors are very happy! Me to!

I purchased this recently I’ve only used it once so far and it has shown to be just as good as the rest of the 80volt line of tools. When I first bought my 80volt lawnmower I will say I was overly surprised at its performance,since then I have purchased just about everything green works offers in 80 volt and I’ll continue to do so!!! I’d give them more stars but that’s not available.Extremely satisfied with these tools keep up the good work Greenworks!!

A lifesaver during a Midwestern winter

I’m a female senior citizen who gave up starting a gas lawn mower several years ago. I bought a Greenworks 40V lawn mower, a few years ago and never looked back. Out of necessity, I bought the Greenworks 40V snowblower. Works well despite the horrific snowfall. Sometimes I need to clear the chute and attack steep snow in “steps” or sections but it performs well under these conditions.

We would like to recommend a few steps to assist with resolving the problem you mentioned.
On occasion and when the right conditions occur the chute may freeze, it happens. There are different types of ice and snow repellent that can be used to help with this issue.
A clogged Snow Blower is caused by ice or sticky snow building up around the discharge chute and not allowing snow to flow through as it normally would. Particularly icy snow will often cause more frequent clogs than soft, lightweight snow, but they are always a possibility in any conditions. One way to prevent snow clogs in your Snow Blower is to use a non-stick snow blower spray. If you do get a clog while snow blowing, DO NOT attempt to unclog it with your hands or feet. Instead, turn your machine off and wait at least 10 seconds for it to fully stop. Then, use a broom handle or other long, stiff object to clear the blockage. For best use in heavy/wet snow types, you will want to move less at once. Once a full pass has been completed, only move about a third of the width of the unit with each pass going forward. This will help with the load acting against the unit and should hopefully assist in a more enjoyable user experience.

Great product & service

I've enjoyed using this snow thrower through nearly 4 years of winter seasons. The only non maintenance complication I've had happened this week when the hinge of the battery compartment broke off. Initially I disregarded it as merely a protective piece for the battery, but soon realized it's absence affects the snow throwers function. I called customer service and Tavon walked me through the process. He informed me that the replacement part was out of stock. However, with my proofs of purchase he assured me that a warranty claim should resolve the issue. I'm hopeful that I'll be able to plow the next snow fall!

The snow blower is easy and light to use. Great to easily get out of the garage and clear up the driveway and side walks for the mailman. It’s also feels like a work horse. Not flimsy or cheap in anyway.
