I bought this unit without batteries because I bought the chainsaw and 2 80v batteries about 2/3 years ago. Blower is powerful and works well but it drains my existing batteries within only a few minutes of use.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This blower is great. My wife has been using the 20v blower I got with my impact drill and some other tools, but when we got the greenworks 80v lawn mower and was impressed with it's power, I got my wife this leaf blower. She enjoys blowing off our back porch. She was amazed at the power of this blower and thanked me immensely for the new tool. Happy wife, happy life.

Great tool to add to my Greenworks 80v Pro collection! Inexpensive when you already have batteries and charger. Great to have a blower that I don't have to have idling on my back when not blowing. Doesn't match the most powerful backpack blowers, but pretty close.

Battery sticks but I love the Blowers and Greenworks

This is excellent except it is virtually impossible for me to get the battery out of the blower. I always have to get help. I have had a few problems with my Greenworks equipment through the years and Greenworks always stands behind their products.

Yes, our batteries do take a firm grip to pull the battery out. This is to ensure dislodgment does not occur during operation.
Make sure that the tracks that the tracks on the battery are free of debris and dirt before you insert the battery, any debris can affect the movement of the battery. When removing the battery, apply a firm grip to the battery latch and place one hand on product and remove the battery pack with a firm pull. I hope this help!
