Cordless 80volt brushless snow blower

I bought this tool thinking it would work well being brushless 80 volt . It seems to work great, good run time, and throws snow good distance.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Weak and battery drains in 5 min

I leave in southeast PA where we get a lot of wet snow - if any. I bought this last year in the fall to prepare for winter. My driveway is about 100' long and 10' wide and I thought this could handle it. First snow was 5" and this blower failed the test miserably. The 4ah battery drained in about 5 min of use and about 30 linear feet. Pushing this thing through the snow was like plowing a farm field by hand - it was a lot of work. Charging the battery takes about 40 min once you include the 15 min cool-down time they don't tell you about. Needless to say it was not going to work so I gave up and hired a plow guy for the rest of the winter. Cost me less than buying an extra battery (or the 6 I would need). I would also include that I have many Greenworks products - 40 volt line and power tools. This one is just terrible.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We bought this in October and this is the first show we have received since, It well not even run. What a disappointment.

Only common issue we hear of for initial startups are as follows: Press and hold in on the switch round safety lock out button, while continuing to push it in pull back on the bale. Doesn't use gas!

I bought this a month ago and love it. I no longer have to deal with gasoline which is dangerous and can get old. My old gas powered machine broke and I bought this new one. I like the amount of time that is available on the big battery.

I’ve had my leaf blower 1 week now. I am enjoying using it. It has plenty of power. I would like to get a second battery but don’t know which battery will fit it. Don’t know where to find the battery number.

Great little snowblower

Love that this snowblower came with two batteries, this is our backup snow blower and to be used on our deck. Being in MN we do get the snow, and already had to use it, and it worked great. So impress with it, that we plan to buy a lawn mower this spring.

This blower blows!

The blower runs great and is very high powered, as much as a gas blower. BUT, and this is the killer, the battery will ONLY last for maybe 20 minutes. I have two 80v batteries and when used with the lawn mower I can get an hour of mowing from each. One of the straps for the backpack is fraying already, and I have used this blower less than 10 times! Unless you have more than 3 batteries to tackle any big job forget it. This blower is not worth the purchase.

As this unit does draw quite a bit of power on high, however, the run time can be extended by using it at a lower speed.
