Excellent power and versatility. This is a powerful tool, battery holds out longer than the fuel on my gas powered like tool. The fact that accepts attachments makes it functional for many projects.
From owning previous gas weedeaters I wasn't sure about buying a battery operated one. This one was light, lasted quite a long time, was able to get job done with one charge and not loud. My wife even used it and likes it.
I really like my trimmer, I just wish the unit weren’t so heavy. I am a 58 year old woman. I just wanted to mention this in case another woman is considering purchasing. The strap provided helps. You might wanted to invest in a more padded strap if you have a lot of trimming to do.
I bought this trimmer about a month ago and up to now, it's been great. I did not expect the power to use with a saw attachment but it cut small trees with ease. I only wish I could find the correct bike handle for this model.

I had a 4 AH battery from our lawn mower charged and ready to go, so put the trimmer together and put it to work. I was a little dismayed that after 1 hour on 14" setting and lower speed the trimmer was still going strong, and I was getting tired. I increased the speed to setting '2', hoping to run the battery down. At 1.5 hours the trimmer was still going, and I had to put it away. My biggest complaint is I could not find a trigger lock setting. I definitely would like to have been able to relax the trigger grip - that is the primary reason I had to give up.
My previous spool cover lasted an extensive amount of time and through a lot of damage. Was very worried about replacing but the new one was a perfect fit and felt even stronger than the last!
