Great durability, power and functionality

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I first bought the greenworks 80v blower and loved it. I then got the snow blower, unfortunately wasn't able to use it due to lack of snow. Then I got the 80v 16" chainsaw and was not disappointed. Now I got the 80v 17" trimmer at Costco and let me tell you, if there was any ever any doubt about electric equipment not having power or being able to handle some tough jobs, well let me tell you this, greenworks machines get it done!! I have been very happy with all my purchases and this trimmer just made me a greenworks customer for life. It has the power, durability and functionality you would ever need. I have an overgrown area with weeds almost 5ft tall and this trimmer got the job done. Sure there were a few plants I had to hit with a machete but over 90% the trimmer was able to handle it. And with the fact I could use all my other batteries I never had an issue. Look at my photos, trust me greenworks equipment is no joke, I highly recommend!!

Motor and battery are good. Cutting head should be adjustabletor the correct angle depending on the job.
"Load-and-go" is not effortless; turning the spool is difficult and somewhat painful without gloves.

Received but missing parts….

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When the item arrived it was missing the handle and a few bolts. Used the handle from my old one along with some bolts and bought 1 bolt at the hardware store. Seems to work great now after a bit of repair. It was a remanufactured one so I didn’t mind improvising…..

Rugged and gets the job done

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this to replace another battery-powered brand that was no longer supported. I've used it quite a bit, and it has never failed me. The battery and charger are still working and I believe Greenworks will keep them in their inventory as they are real workhorse. The unit keeps a charge, and I can easily trim my 1/3 acre lot on one charge. I also have a Greenworks hedge trimmer and leaf blower. All batteries are interchangeable. I planned it that way.
I would recommend this to a friend!
