Piece of Junk
on May 12, 2026

Piece of junk. Worked fine for 2 years and I did not use it that much. Now water pours out of the hose that goes into the soap dispenser, the water flow should be in the opposite direction. They need to rename this GreenNOworks

Hello Gator91384.
We are sorry to hear about your experience, especially after the unit performed well for a couple of years. That is understandably frustrating. Based on what you described, water flowing out of the soap (detergent) inlet is typically related to a check valve or internal injector issue. Under normal operation, that port should only draw detergent when the system is running in low-pressure mode, not allow water to exit. This can sometimes occur if there is a blockage, mineral buildup, or a worn internal valve.
A few things you can try:
Ensure you are using the correct nozzle, soap function only activates with a low-pressure (black) nozzle.
Flush the system with clean water to remove any residual detergent or debris.
Inspect the detergent inlet and hose for cracks, looseness, or buildup that may be affecting flow direction.
If the unit was exposed to freezing temperatures at any point, internal components may have been compromised, which can lead to this type of issue.
We also see that you have already been in touch with our team, and we are actively assisting you through the warranty claim process to get this resolved as quickly as possible. We appreciate your patience while we work toward a solution.
While we regret that this experience didn not meet expectations, your feedback is valuable and will be shared with our product team as we continue to improve reliability and durability.

Garbage Quality, used ~half dozen times and broke
on May 14, 2026

Cheaply manufactured garbage product. I was given one of these pressure washers as a gift in 2024, I was told the warranty expired in December so they can’t do anything and there’s no part to repair it. I’ve used it maybe 6 times total, and the metal piece connecting the pressure washer hose to it crumbled.
Garbage product backing and a garbage product, an unrepairable catastrophic failure of a lightly used machine that’s stored in a garage. Not worth buying, there’s plenty of other, better brands.

Hello Mpat.
We are sorry to hear about your experience and understand how frustrating it is when a product does not hold up as expected, especially with limited use. Based on what you described with the hose connection point, it may be helpful to double-check a few common factors that can contribute to this type of issue. Ensuring the hose is properly aligned and not cross-threaded during connection is important, as misalignment can place stress on the fitting over time. It is also recommended to avoid overtightening, as this can weaken connection points, and to confirm that the correct hose and fittings are being used for the unit. Additionally, if the unit was ever exposed to freezing temperatures without being fully drained, internal expansion can cause damage to connection components, even if the unit is stored in a garage.
For general setup, connection, and care tips, you may find this official Greenworks instructional video helpful: https://youtu.be/9vGTIBBBkFc
We hope these tips are helpful. Greenworks pressure washers are backed by a three-year limited manufacturer warranty with proof of purchase. While your unit may be outside of the warranty period, if you would like to discuss the unit further or share additional feedback, please feel welcome to contact us directly either using the online chat function, on Greenworks Tools page, or by calling 1-888-909-6757.
