I’ve always wanted an ARC-170 since I was a kid when they introduced them in 2005 as a tie-in for Episode III. Now that I’m an adult and can pay for my own things, I decided now or never, and I gotta say, it’s such an awesome building experience, with unique utilization of pieces. I highly recommend.
I got this ship not to long ago and man its very nice. Only down side would be the guns on the side. They do tend to fall off very easily. In fact mine is missing some parts for the gun cuz it broke off and the pieces disapperd faster then my dad did. But i do have these cool wall stands where you place it on it and it sticks out from the wall and looks like its flying. Its really nice a bit overpriced but not too much. I would buy again. I plan on getting another one to go along with my gunship
Great Set, just wish the wings were wider by 4-8 studs each. with the wings being so short the extendable part of the wings dont move up from the main wings very far when in "attack mode". But it's cool that they changed the cockpit piece color.
Super cool ship and design but MAJOR design flaw on the main wings. There's only a single connection point on one side that uses one unit, and this makes it incredibly weak. Bump it lightly and it breaks apart. I understand the wings need to be thin, but they need more reinforcement which I did on my own. The problem with doing this is it interferes with the folding outer wings. The under wing cannons fall off pretty easily too...
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
