I bought this machine around spring time so far no complaint love it, good quality, even my daughters know how to manage it. We even like doing laundry now lol the clothes come out really clean couldn't have made a better purchase.

Easily scratched by laundry baskets (plastic)

Purchased in 04/16 and within 2 weeks scratches began to show up from laundry baskets being placed on both washer and dryer. Purchased 3 year warranty from Lowes because they said everything was covered (several Lowes associates and manager were witnesses to appliance dept. person stating this). Now I purchased an expensive warranty for no reason and I think the problem lies by the manufacturing method used by GE. Dryer is loud at times because of thin sheet metal.

My first experience with a front load washer Love it. It cleans so much better than the old top load machine. All the features make it fun to do laundry.

Cleans much better than top loader!

I was completely dissatisfied at the cleaning ability of my GE top-loading washing machine and finally insisted that it be replaced with this model. I am so much happier! Some have said that this model is loud but I have not noticed.
