I Purchased this washer and ran a load and was very impressed!!! - It is packed with features that are intuitive and comprehensive. The Dials and displays are very easy to read and understand. The wash cycles are packed with features!!! and the machine is very quiet when operating. I'm completely satisfied with my purchase. GE makes excellent products!!! - A MUST BUY!!!

Love the set

I have had this for a little less than a week love it it cleans better than the whirlpool duet set I had and they are almost dry when I take them out of the washer also can fit a king size comforter with ease

I've been using this washer for about 3 months and have had service here to check on why the spin cycle is so loud. Nothing has been resolved yet. The washer does seem to do a good job,but is way too noisy. It does stack well with the dryer to fit in a smaller space.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Very noisy and lots of vibration

I had another GE washer that was quieter. I believe because it had rotor balancing feature that helped reducing noise and vibration that this one does not have. Other than that, this washer seems to be doing its job.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This washer is working great for us. So many options and saves on water output. Only negative comment would be that it is quite loud on the spin cycle. But love it so far!

piece of crap

we replaced a different front load that we owned for over 10 years with this piece of crap. We purchased it brand new about 4 years ago and have had nothing but issues with it. It got off balance easily. We had to replace the "shocks" under it because one snapped apart. Now the motor smells like it's burning and it appears that the weight on the back of the drum is cracked. It is constantly off balance and violently rattles and shakes - we have to stop the washer numerous times. The black plastic around the door has been getting chewed off because of its shaking. I have found shaved plastic in my clothing as well as in the drain pump. Now I'm looking to replace this unit...GRRRR!!

Can't imagine a better machine...

We have had this washer for a little over 3 months and it has been awesome. I guess there other features available, but not sure how or really why! We certainly don't use everything on this machine, but all features we need have been outstanding. Love the extra tumble feature that keeps tumbling every so often to keep clothes fresh overnight until you are able to put in the dryer. Very good looking, modern appearance. Very quiet. We kept our other dryer because it was in excellent shape, but just ordered this GE Washers companion to match because this machine is so great. Highly recommend!

This came with my new home, we were so excited to get a front loading washer. It has plenty of space and we are able to fit our king size bedding in with no problem. Make sure to keep the door open after use to reduce any mold/mildew/smells.
