Overall, I like the washer. Recently I'm having problems with a burning rubber smell & the spin cycle is abnormally fast. I think a belt is broke.

Very noisey. Vibration was horrible during spin cycle. After 7 years the smell was bad and the drum went bad, Had to replace. The spin cycle was always loud from day 1.

Planned Obsolescence

Machine lasted about 8 years of average use. Probably as expected these days. Most disappointed that the pump is a common problem with this machine apparently and yet they choose to not make that part available any longer - presumably to get you to buy another one. Not a fan of that practice. Maybe time to try another brand.,

While we understand the importance of an appliance operating for a long period of time, it is not possible to determine the product failure rate, lifespan, life expectancy, or life cycle of an appliance. There are multiple variables involved such as frequency of use, type of use, location of appliance, care, and maintenance.
