Buy only if you want to replace in less the 5 year

Bought this machine approximately 5 years ago about a week ago it stopped spinning and draining. Service was called and imagine my surprise that the drain pump and along with a couple of other things are not working correctly and that the parts are not available. So I am on the hunt for a new washer.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Disposable Appliances That Should NOT be Sold

I've had this washing machine for 5 years and prior to my elderly mom and sister moving-in with me (10/2020), I lived alone and washed my clothes, bed linens etc., a repairman was out yesterday (3/2021) to look at the washing machine and deemed it too costly to repair, GARBAGE DO NOT BUY!!!!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Washer pump died due to basket coming apart.

This washer lasted 6 years and it is a stacked with the GE dryer model GFDS170EH1WW. Since GE no longer makes this washer, what is the compatible unit with this dryer model?

Sounds like a helicopter on the spin cycle and vibrates the whole house. Put rubber pads under the feet and a pad under the washer and releveled the washer multiple times. Got a new motor and springs. Still have to straighten all the pictures on the wall and turn the TV up 15 levels when washer is on.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

3 1/2 years and the tub is broken.

This machine has been great for 3.5 years, but now the drum is broken. The repair estimate is almost as much as a new machine. 3-4 years on a new machine, seems like way too early to have a major problem. Apparently, the GE warranty is only good for one year. We have a matching dryer and now a new washer won't match. Can not recommend.
