My favorite feature is so many different cycles. The fact that it does very large loads and bulky items is great too. It seems to retain moisture where the door meets a rubber piece so it could be a problem down the road if you don't keep that area clean.

My washer, I have had for 20 years just passed away. I went to our local appliance store that is renown for their excellent service. I trust them and their quality of product they carry. I wanted a simple machine, but my salesperson recommended this unit. Looking at the control panel I was intimidated. My washer was installed today. I spent ten minutes reading the owners manual. I was confident to start my first load. It was easy to navigate the choices and I was impressed with the quality of the outcome of the wash. I believe this unit will preserve my clothing and linens and give me energy and time saving options.

This was already in the home we purchased and I couldn't be any happier with it. I didn't think I would like the front load washer but I love it. Works great. Its very quiet and my clothes look brand new. Love all the options, plus it has saved me money

Works well but super loud

This is our second GE front loader. First one lasted 8 years; hoping this one lasts longer. Big capacity, works well, lots of features for specific wash cycles, spins clothes so they're almost dry. Very happy with this machine so far, except the noise. Super loud during the spin cycle! Ours is in the basement so not a big deal at all. I would not recommend this model for anyone who wants their washer on the first floor.

4 month old Front Loader became Noisy & Shakes

I bought this in Sep 2015 and it is Jan 2016 and washer is now wiggling a bunch (enought to drop whatever is left on top of it) and making tons of noise in the spin cycle. Installation was done by the GE supplier and I double checked with them that it was leveled. Even used my own leveling tool to check before they left. Machine did OK in Sept-Nov but noise started towards end of December and it is now constant for every cycle no matter its size so I will be calling for service this week. Leveling tool tells me it is still leveled to the floor, so not sure what is its problem. Sure glad I also bought the service contract but disappointed that I am going to need it so soon. My last GE washer (top loader) never had an issue for the 6 years I owned it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We had our whirlpool duet washer go out last month. It was under our home warranty so we were able to get a new washer sent out to us at no charge. The warranty comany offered us this unit and based on the reviews we accepted the offer. I am so glad we did. It has all of the features you would ever need and is all that i could ask for and more!

I bought this machine June 1, 2015. The machine immediately had a terrible shrieking noise when washing any load of clothing on all cycles. Jan 10, 2015 the noise is gone. The machine washes clothes reasonably well. It is not quiet and it is nothing more than an average machine.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
