Does what you want it to do!!!

Had it for less than two month and has broken twice already. Washes clothes well. However reliability is a questionable!!!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We really loved our last GE washer, so when it was time to purchase a new one, we looked for a similar model and chose the GFW450SSKWW. It has been everything we wanted and more!

So easy to use many different cycles, looks good. Does an excellent job on cleaning the cloths. Have washed mats from bathroom and they look great when finished

Good but Not great!

I bought this about a month ago. I was a little hesitant to buy a front loader but every one seems to like them so I thought "what the hay". For the most part it is good but I can't put the spin cycle on anything but Low because anything higher will shake the house. We have 2nd floor laundry and on the initial load I could not believe how load it was. I was sitting at my kitchen table when it began to shake and did not know at first what it was until I heard it. It's a powerful machine. And, the low spin cycle does just fine...but if you forget.....OMG! But they a very nice machines. I bought the matching dryer which is great. I just think it's either not meant for 2nd floor laundry or with todays technology there is no way this machine should be shaking the house on a spin cycle. I would recommend this machine with warning of the spin cycle on anything but low.
