Overheats

This product overheats and has a burning smell when doing something as simple as making icing. Gets so hot you can't touch it and apparently this is normal. Would not recommend this product.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Life saver!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] OMG! I love my new pistachio Artisan 5 quart tilt-head stand mixer! Why have I waited so long? This is an amazing kitchen appliance that is a must. It is so easy to use, easy to maintain, it's beautiful and well made. Just try to find the right spot as it's heavy and buy a sliding bottom to move it back if you need to bring it close to you or farther back.
I decided on the color pistachio as it is classic and looks amazing with all wood tones. I have shoulder injuries and I was close to giving up on baking as I did it all manually and I'd be in tears all night and for the next couple of days. Not so much now. It's not only for baking, cook prep too! I make my parm potato mash in there and more. Next, is all kinds of dough. My only concern is the coated attachments, I would prefer all stainless steel.
I told my partner, I'm an adult now. Lol even if I'm close to 50. Make you life easier and get your hands on one. It's expensive but over time, you will find it was worth every penny. As food prices are soaring, it is best to make your own food with basic staples. This is amazing. The pouring shield is a must and there are tons of accessories. I'm interested in the bowls (ceramic and glass), stainless steel attachments, and the pasta attachments. Whatever your style is, there is a color that will suit you. Go crazy and do color! 1 pop of color, no need to match with anything else. Let it be you kitchen counter show piece and use it!
