These speakers are outstanding. I thought I understood them until I gave them sufficient power source. The bass is strong, deep, and well controlled, and the horns are smooth and detailed rather than harsh. The difference proper amplification makes is remarkable. Klipsch speakers are extremely amplifier-dependent. They are so efficient I underestimated their potential and Ive been a fan all my life. When paired with a quality high-current amp (Emotiva DR), they are truly exceptional.
I'm having a problem with my Klipsch RF7 MK3 speakers. The sound is weak, and the vocals are recessed. It's like someone has covered the speakers with a blanket. I'm writing this because I've tried everything. Did these RF7 MK3 speakers have a manufacturing defect?
I have had these about 8 months and continue to be amazed. I have had a variety of speakers for different applications over the years from us and international brands. Home stereo/theater, studio, professional, and car audio applications. Reference and non-reference systems, vintage and newer. I still use favorite examples from brands including Cerwin-Vega, BOSE, Elac, SONY, Realistic, Yamaha, JBL, Peavey and SVS. These RF-7 III speakers are something special even among Klipsch and deeply satisfying to me.
Klipsch RF7III are hands down the best audio investment I've ever made. The quality of the veneers are absolutely outstanding. The sound quality is beyond measure. I'm also the happy owner of a pair of original RF7. I've owned these since December 2024 and I must say that they sound better each time I play them.
