Breastfeeding friendly shape

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We received the Philips Avent Naturel Bottle and Flow 2 and 3 nipples through Stellar Product Testing Panel.
We currently have a 5 week old and are doing a combination of breast feeding and bottle feeding of breast milk, especially overnight.
Our first impression of the bottle and nipples was that the nipples are ergonomically breast shaped. Our son easily accepted it the first time, despite limited prior bottle experience. The nipples are soft and very easy to clean. They are no-drip and absolutely live up to that description as we cannot even shake milk out of them when we try. He has had issues with quick feeding off of other products, but this seems to slow him down to an appropriate speed, which has been better for his gas and burping.
The bottle's large mouth makes it much easier to clean that other bottles we have used. The flow nipples can easily be removed from the cap ring and swapped out. This takes less than 10 second to do.
The only downside to this product is the white cap ring. It is difficult to determine how much milk is left as he is nearing the end of the feed, especially in low-light situations. Approximately 1.5 ounces are concealed by the cap. We have taken to pulling it out of his mouth to see how much is left. Since he latches easily to the bottle, he takes it back easily, but could be a challenge for an infant that does not take bottles well.
We have used quite a few different bottles, but this has become our mainstay for feeding since we received it for review.

Top Tier Baby Bottle

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I actually first heard of the Philips Advent bottles from my best friend who raved how these were the "top of the top" of baby bottles. Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel, I was given this baby bottle to try before my friend was able to send one!
At first I thought they were too big but I later realized these bottles are easier to hold compared to others. I could see where the milk is at and I have a better look at the nipple. This bottle is very light too.
I am currently breastfeeding and bottle-feeding breastmilk to my colic 3 month old. So far, she does not suck in so much air using the Philips Advent Bottle and nipple. My baby immediately took to this bottle and she had no problems attaching to the nipple. I did notice she is able to control the pacing of her feeding and I did not notice any milk dripping on its own. I prefer to have a slow flow nipple as I do want my baby to continue breastfeeding. This bottle and nipple is great for when my husband or babysitter needs to bottle-feed her.
The bottles are really easy to clean. I like there are no frills with any extra peices. It is just the bottle, the cap, the nipple and the base. The cap is secure and is not difficult to pop off. I would recommend this bottle to any bottle-feeding parent!

Excellent product

I will absolutely be recommending and gifting this product to friends and family. I was skeptical at first as we went through multiple types of bottles, but with this one I am pleasantly surprised.

the perfect bottle for my baby

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have been searching for a bottle that would work well for our little one and thanks to these Avent bottles, the search is over. I received this bottle nipple set from the Stellar Product Testing Panel. My 6mo loves being able to feed himself using these bottles. They are the perfect shape for him to be able to hold on his own and the no-drip feature is a parents' dream come true. My baby switches between bottles and breastfeeding without any complaints. I highly recommend adding these to your baby-feeding supplies. The natural flow makes it easy for my baby to control when he eats and the bottles are very easy to assemble and clean. Everything fits in a dishwasher easily and it easy to sanitize. We love how simple it is to change the nipple size as needed. Making a bottle for our baby is fast!

Great bottle

I have always been a fan of Philips Avent bottles so I was excited to get a new bottle to test out. I dont really know what the difference is between this and their original bottles. But considering I liked the older bottles, I enjoyed this new bottle as well.

Favorite Bottle

The Avent Bottle 9oz is one of my favorite baby bottles. The shape is nice and fits well into my diaper bag, and I don't worry about any leaks. It's easy to assemble and clean, but you have to remove the cap from the lid while it's still screwed onto the bottle (it is that tight! But this probably helps prevent leaks so I don't mind).
My baby (6wks) takes this bottle well and has not had any issues with it flowing too much into her mouth. She only takes a bottle occasionally, but when she does there have been no issues with this one.
The Avent Bottle 9oz is one of my favorite baby bottles. The shape is nice and fits well into my diaper bag, and I don't worry about any leaks. My picky eater loves this bottle

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I secretly judged some moms who said their baby would only take a certain brand of bottle or refused them all together... until I had this THIRD baby of mine! [Face Palm] My picky little eater loves this bottle! I have several different brands and she drinks much quicker with this one and doesn't push it out of her mouth. I think it's the wide nipple that works for her. I've always enjoyed Avent bottles as they're easy to clean (4 parts if you include the cap!). Much easier to clean and sanitize than others

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This bottle is neat because it has several different scales on the side 4 ounces, both UK and US fluid ounce sizes. Since a lot of us are having to use formula from the UK because of the formula shortage, this is incredibly useful because there is actually a difference! I really liked the easy way the bottle is able to be cleaned and steamed. There are only a couple of parts versus other brands. There’s actually a tiny little vent in the nipple that makes it antireflux, and you don’t have to worry about any extra parts to wash! That’s probably my favorite feature of this bottle. Now, my poor little baby has been struggling to use different bottles for a long time. He had a lip and tongue tie which made bottlefeeding pretty difficult. The only kind I can get him to try are narrow bottles. I spent quite a bit of time trying to get him to latch on this and he just couldn’t seem to. I would really like to see this brand make a narrow version for babies with feeding issues! I loved a lot of the features on this but he just couldn’t seem to get the hang of it.
