A bottle my baby finally liked

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was given this baby bottle to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. We used this bottle with our 4 month old baby, who we are starting bottles with (in addition to breastfeeding). After trying 2 other brands, this is the one she liked the best! This bottle comes with a top, level “3” nipple (for 1 month+), and a 9 oz bottle.
Pros:
-Wide nipple worked better than narrower nipples we tried
-Very easy to assemble/disassemble/clean (we used the dishwasher!)
-The nipple has a “softness” to it; doesn’t feel so rubbery
-Worked well for combining breastfeeding and bottle feeding
-Has a sleek, simple look to it

Cons:
-9 oz bottle is too big for us. We are planning to get the smaller size, since our baby only takes 4-5 oz at a time.

This is a great bottle for our bottle-picky baby. We’re glad we came across it! We highly recommend for anyone who is trying to combine breastfeeding and bottle feeding.

Good flow but oversized bottle for newborn

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been breastfeeding my two-month old, but have been introducing bottles so that her father and siblings as well as grandparents could have a chance to feed her. Over the last four weeks, I have tried several bottles and nipples. I received the Philips Avent Natural Baby Bottle With Natural Response Nipple from the Stellar Product Testing Panel.
My newborn was born in mid-September at 37 weeks and was under 6 pounds. Her intake usually ranges from 2-3 ounces at a feeding.
The Philips Avent Natural Baby Bottle with Natural Response Nipple is lightweight and plastic, which was nice for the younger siblings helping feed our newborn. Yet, due to its size, the 9 ounce capacity was not ideal for my newborn. It felt like wasted space.in heating the breastmilk and storage. I would have prefered a 4 ounce bottle at this age.
My newborn liked the Natural Response Nipple. The shape fit well in her mouth. She seemed to respond well to the pace. The nipple released a little more milk than smaller rated nipples, but this worked well for my two-month old. She also seemed less gassy so the flow did not allow too many air pockets.
Overall, for a larger newborn or older infant, this bottle would work well. The nipple would work for any newborn who wanted a slightly faster intake.

SO easy

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] [I received this AVENT natural baby bottle set from the Stellar Product Testing Panel] I love how easy these bottles are to clean! They only have a few parts and they are wide enough that it is easy to put the bottle brushes in to clean. My baby doesn’t usually love bottles as she mainly nurses but these bottles she did well with. With the flow of the nipple she was able to pace herself! I didn’t experience any leaking. I recommend these bottles.

Philips Avent Bottle

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Through Stellar Product Testing, I received a Phillips Avent natural baby bottle to test and give my honest opinion. I was excited to try this bottle because I have used Phillips Avent in the past but I have not used the Natural version and I was excited to try it out. The packaging is very attractive and has the basic necessary information in both English and Spanish. Reading the outside of the box, I was excited to learn that the Natural bottle has a no-drip nipple design, meaning no spilt milk. Also, the nipple has an anticolic valve, so less air gets in my baby’s tummy. Inside the box it comes with a small information booklet, the lid, nipple, ring, and bottle. I love how it’s just four pieces which means less to clean and with the bottle having a wider opening than some bottles the brush fits inside the bottle much easier than a skinny opening. The bottle is very easy to assemble and I did test the no-drip feature and it’s true. I held the bottle upside at different angles with no drips. My baby is three months old at the time of testing this new bottle. She is exclusively breast-fed and trying to get her to drink a bottle was not an easy task. I tried two different bottles and she wasn’t taking either one. I received the Phillips Avent natural baby bottle in the mail and after sterilizing it I gave it to her and had no issues. She took the bottle right away. I’m so impressed how quickly she took this bottle and now this is the only bottle I will use if I have to drop her off somewhere. Not once did she gag with the nipple pouring too much milk in her mouth. She controlled the flow of the milk. The bottle fits just right for all of my diaper bag’s bottle pouches. The indentation on the bottle fits perfectly in my hand and is very easy to hold. Even my baby likes to help ‘hold’ the bottle.

Easy transition

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My baby exclusively breast-feed‘s and had no trouble latching onto this bottle beautifully. I’m always a bit apprehensive introducing him to a new bottle, but he had no trouble at all and enjoyed the pacing of the flow of milk. We also liked that we can drop in different nipple sizes as he starts eating faster. I think the simplicity of this bottle is also noteworthy. Very easy to clean and looks aesthetically pleasing. I receive this product as part of the stellar product testing panel but views are my own.

Breast feed to Bottle Ease

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am Mom to a 3-month old baby boy. We have been nursing and adding one bottle of formula a day to help with sleep at night. Baby Boy recently started daycare which meant most of his meals during weekdays are from a bottle. The Philips Avent Natural Baby Bottle Set with Natural Response Nipple, 9oz, has been an easy transition from breast to bottle and back.
Bottle Design: bottle is easy to clean, easy to hold while feeding, and easy to get the lid on even when holding Baby Boy. I like that the bottle is only 3 pieces (bottle, nipple, ring) and that the anti-colic is built into the nipple. This makes assembling easy and my drying rack uncluttered.
Nipple Design: the look and the feel mimics the breast. Baby Boy has the same mouth shape in nursing and in using this bottle. This definitely helps him transition back and forth from breast to bottle without issue.
Control: the nipple is made to control the flow of milk or formula to Baby Boy. While drinking Baby Boy is able to pause to breathe and continue when ready. This nipple does not leak! I have tipped it over on the couch unknowingly and did not lose a drop! :o)

Great bottle for breastfeeding babies

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The bottle is very nice looking and easy to hold. It is also leak proof and doesn't drip all over the baby or come out too fast for my baby. It's only 4 pieces and VERY easy to clean. I like that the nipples are very thin, it resembles a real nipple and doesn't choke my baby with too much material as she transitioned to a bottle. The flow is perfect for my baby because it seems to resemble her drinking from the breast. She doesn't spit up as much when using these as she isn't sucking in too much air with the great design of these bottles. Thank you to the stellar product testing panel for providing us this bottle to use.

Simple and natural

The bottles are wide and easy to hold both for myself and for my baby’s hands to start trying to grasp. He has only used one other type of bottle so I wasn’t sure how he would react, but he seemed to get used to the change rather quickly. He was able to control the amount of milk flow easily and I love that it doesn’t drip all over the place when it pops out of his mouth!
