Breastfeeding friendly shape

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We received the Philips Avent Naturel Bottle and Flow 2 and 3 nipples through Stellar Product Testing Panel.
We currently have a 5 week old and are doing a combination of breast feeding and bottle feeding of breast milk, especially overnight.
Our first impression of the bottle and nipples was that the nipples are ergonomically breast shaped. Our son easily accepted it the first time, despite limited prior bottle experience. The nipples are soft and very easy to clean. They are no-drip and absolutely live up to that description as we cannot even shake milk out of them when we try. He has had issues with quick feeding off of other products, but this seems to slow him down to an appropriate speed, which has been better for his gas and burping.
The bottle's large mouth makes it much easier to clean that other bottles we have used. The flow nipples can easily be removed from the cap ring and swapped out. This takes less than 10 second to do.
The only downside to this product is the white cap ring. It is difficult to determine how much milk is left as he is nearing the end of the feed, especially in low-light situations. Approximately 1.5 ounces are concealed by the cap. We have taken to pulling it out of his mouth to see how much is left. Since he latches easily to the bottle, he takes it back easily, but could be a challenge for an infant that does not take bottles well.
We have used quite a few different bottles, but this has become our mainstay for feeding since we received it for review.

Slick design

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was really excited to introduce the Philips Avent Natural Baby Bottle to our little. The bottles look great, they are super easy to clean, and the Natural Response Nipple have a good shape and texture. Our little did not immediately take to the bottles. We did try introducing the bottles a few times. Changing the nipple to a faster flow helped a bit. The natural response was great as our little was able to control the flow very easily but ultimately the rounded shape did not work well for us. I honestly wish these bottles has worked out better for us because they were super easy to clean which would have been a nice change!

Bottle makes drinking easy

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The bottle is nice and easy to grip, fill, shake, feed, and clean! The ergonomics of the bottle make a long feeding much more comfortable than other bottles that I’ve tried.
The natural-esque nipple makes for a responsive experience for baby, with no nipple confusion or latch problems. The baby was definitely able to control her desired rate- pausing at times and racing at others.
As said above, the bottles are super easy to clean, given the shape.

No drips and deep latch

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Received these bottles and nipples to try when my baby was just under 1 month old, thanks to Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing these for me and my baby to test out and try.
We tried the bottles with the #3 nipples which were great and just the right flow as he was growing out of the flow rate we were using before these arrived. The nipple design on these allowed him to get a deep latch and practice flaring out his lips as he has a lip tie that is awaiting revision which has been making direct breastfeeding very difficult. These have been a lifesaver to go between breast and bottle frequently.
One thing I noticed with these bottles and nipples is that he has been getting some dripping milk out through the valve but none through the tip of the nipple.
Thank you, would highly recommend especially for other breastfeeding moms.

Not My First Choice

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was given this baby bottle set to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. I really like the size of this bottle as I currently have an 8-month-old who takes up to 7oz at a time. The ergonomic shape of the bottle gives it a nice and easy grip. Cleaning and assembly of this bottle is a breeze with a standard bottle cleaning brush and drying system. Despite this, as an almost exclusively breastfeeding mama, I prefer a slower nipple flow to more closely mimic the breast. My baby had a tongue-tie and has experienced difficulty across the board with bottle feeding. He has had the most success with narrow neck bottles and seemed to have more difficulty with this wide-neck bottle. Overall, this bottle would work for my family in a pinch but would not be my first choice.

Just Could Not Make It Work For Us

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Philips Avent Natural and nipple are easy to clean, look and feel nice. However, this set just didn’t work for us. I don’t know if the nipple on this bottle can be more tricky, but my baby (5 weeks) wasn’t able to drink any milk from it. Spent plenty of time sucking and realized quickly the bottle wasn’t emptying and we were still at the exact same starting measurement. I changed nipple to see if it was an issue with this particular one, and then changed the flow level to see if that was the issue and neither worked. I know babies can have an easier/harder time with certain nipples and how they are designed - and this one just did not work for us.
As for the bottle - It is a very nice design and comfortable to hold. There are easy to read measurements in both ml and oz - which is very much appreciated.
The nipple seems to be made of a much heavier silicone, giving it a sturdier feel with less give. Easy to clean and insert into the bottle ring. Didn’t have any leaking issues.

Amazing bottle from Philips

These Philips Avent Natural Baby Bottle with Natural Response Nipple are amazing and I will not buy any other brand after me trying them. The ergonomic shape is very sleek and simple make it easy for my baby to hold the bottle. My baby was controlling the pace of the milk like when I breastfeeding her with no leak at all. It’s only release milk when my baby actively drink which is amazing. The wide and soft nipple is so comfortable for my baby and easy to latch. Assembly was super easy with no small parts. The bottle has a wide neck make it very easy to clean and it is a dishwasher safe. We love it and will definitely be using this bottle moving forward.

Comfortable Bottle for Baby and Feeder

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this bottle from the Stellar Review Panel to test with my 2 month old child. Currently, I am breastfeeding, so this bottle was our first attempt at transitioning to prepare for heading to daycare.
Out of the box, the bottle is simple to use and easy to sanitize based on provided instructions. Assembly is easy and the nipple sits tightly in the cap.
When we tried, my son was a little resistant at first, but was willing to try taking some milk. The grip is comfortable in my hand and easy to hold. The size is nice, holding up to 9 ounces, but still great for only 1 or 2 as we started out.
The bottle came with a level 3 nipple, but I tried a level 2 that was provided by the Stellar Testing Panel as well, which was good to reduce the flow a bit. At times as he sucked, he would take breaks, so it seemed that the milk wasn’t leaking into his mouth and overwhelming him.
The cap and nipple system is nice because it fits my pump, so I would have the option to pump directly into these bottles if desired and skip a transfer, reducing some loss.
Despite many great features, so far my son has not taken to this particular bottle yet, so we may have to try something else, but my older daughter loves this same style and we were very successful with it for her.
