Babies love them

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received these bottles through the Stellar Product Testing Panel and they were very much needed. My baby is 4 months old and exclusively breastfed except when being babysat. We have tried every single bottle brand out there and this is the only bottle she will use. She has refused every single brand we tried until this one came along. This bottle is the next best thing to a breast. It has a wide shape nipple that mimics the breast and allows any baby to control the pace they want to eat. The shape of the bottle allows you to feed mor comfortably without wondering if your baby is sucking on air. There is an anti colic valve on all the nipples preventing air from being sucked in and has a petal like design to allow for a better latch. The shape of the bottle also allows for any baby to hold it themselves or prop the bottle up on a blanket to feed. This is one of the easiest things to clean as there are only two parts the bottle and the nipple. Most anti colic bottles have multiple parts in the bottle to clean and they leak if all the parts aren’t assembled correctly. It’s frustrating if your liquid gold leaks out as it takes so much effort pump milk out but you will never have to worry about that with these. I absolutely love them and recommend them to everyone I know! Buy them right now and don’t second guess it.

Must try for breastfeeding babies

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Wow! So with my son, he was exclusively bottlefed with breastmilk so we trialed several different bottles. Eventually found a popular brand that worked for us. Fast forward 2 years later with my daughter, stuck to the same brand when returning back to work. No real hiccups but could tell she wasn't the biggest fan either. Coincidentally we got sent the Philips Avent bottle set to try out and she LOVED it! So much so we purchased another set (in pink) almost immediately after. The nipples shape and texture, along with the responsive tip worked wonders as I felt it truly did mimic breastfeeding. The flow was just right but we purchased faster flow nipples to try out as well. Her little hands were able to hold the bottles fairly well and I think the shape works well for infants. I wish they did offer a silicone bottle and a handle as an add-on option for customers to purchase. Overall, I would highly recommend this to parents who are transitioning from breast to bottle or doing a combination of both, like I am. I received the product to try through the Stellar Product Testing Panel.

The Best

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] From the moment I started pumping this is the only bottle brand my baby would take, this is our second son and when our one year old was first born he would only take Avent as well. I was super excited to be get these from Stellar Panel to test out because I already knew how amazing these products were. The design of the bottle is perfect, the nipple is wide and mimics the breast which is perfect because I’m still breastfeeding as well. Our newborn was able to control how much milk he wanted and was able to stop to catch his breath. The bottle and nipple was super easy to clean and this momma loves the fact that it’s not 10 pieces for one bottle.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We were gifted this bottle from Stellar product testing panel and were eager to try it. We’ve had a tough time finding bottles for our son because he is such a fast drinker but he’s also super picky about his bottles. Not only does he gladly take this bottle, but it has helped with his gas tremendously. The bottle doesn’t leak and is easy to clean - some we have tried have a million parts. So glad to have found this one!

A great bottle with a few caveats

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have actually purchased a full Avent Natural Response bottle set, but I received this bottle from the Stellar Product Testing Panel on the 8oz bottle. Overall, these bottles are easy to use and clean. I love that there are so few parts and my baby has had no trouble going from bottle to breast (with a few caveats, listed below).
I only used these with breast milk and I think the 8oz bottle is not something I would typically use since this bottle is too large for the volume of breast milk my baby would eat. I much prefer the smaller 5oz bottles.
We generally use bottles if my baby is still hungry shortly after a breastfeeding session or for my husband to feed him when I am busy and just need to buy myself a little bit of time. We do not do an entire feed from a bottle and are just supplementing here and there. Because if this, the volume my baby eats is only a few ounces at a time so the 8oz bottle was not useful for feeding. However, it’s extremely useful for storage! I have found myself using the large bottle to store multiple pump sessions to take up less space in the fridge. I also will separately store anything my baby does not consume in the allowed time limit or if we accidentally leave a bottle out too long and once I have a good amount I will freeze in 1oz increments for milk baths.
Pros: - Easy to clean, only 3 parts for the entire setup (4 if you count the lids)! These parts are also larger so they don’t get lost or slip through cracks in the dishwasher. - Wide base and neck. These are easy to hook up directly to my pump flanges and I love that the bottles don’t easily tip over. - Variety of nipple flow sizes available for the bottles. This increases the longevity of use and makes it easy to adjust for my baby.
Cons: - It’s impossible to easily get all the milk out of these bottles. There is a lip/rim below the collar the nipple attaches to that milk collects in. In order to get the last bit of milk I have to tip the bottle completely upside down to fill the nipple and have my baby suck it out. This also makes transferring milk after pumping hard to do without dripping/wasting some. - Most of the available nipples are very slow and because of this and how soft they are, my baby would almost “chomp” on the tip in an effort to get more milk. This also translated to him doing the same on the breast (OW!). We’ve been able to work through this with our lactation consultant and why we ended up going to Flow 4 at 6 weeks. - 8oz bottles seem incredibly large for breastfed babies since they max out at a lower volume. I am not sure we will ever really need this size, even if we use a bottle for a full feed.
Overall, I would still purchase and recommend these bottles/nipples/sets with the few cons noted. We have tried several other bottles/nipples and the flows have been way too fast so I do think these are great bottle once you can determine the correct nipple for your baby.

Game changer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My daughter is 8 months old and we have been STRUGGLING to find a bottle/nipple set that works for her. She is breastfed, so she definitely has a preference for breast over bottle. While this product was received for free, this is an honest review (thank you stellar product testing panel!). We must have tried a new bottle each month and these are the ones that work for her. The bottle is easy to hold, even for baby, and fit into her diaper bag easily. The nipple didn't drip before she latched onto it. Easy to clean without a lot of parts. It hasn't caused any gas issues. She is able to control the flow of milk while drinking from this bottle, so no pooling of milk around her lips and no gagging! I so wish we had found these sooner.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My 3 month old daughter loved the Philips Avent Natural Response Baby Bottle. We received this product as part of Stellar product testing panel. After going back to work she had to learn how to take a bottle and she has loved this bottle. She will drink the bottle fast and doesn’t have any issues with spitting etc. I would recommend.

Great bottles

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We received these bottles through Stellar Product Testing Panel at no cost but the review provided is our honest perspective.
Frame of reference: First time parents. When we received the bottles for review, we were breastfeeding as well as bottle feeding our 3 month old. We were using a different brand bottle that has a slimmer form and has a anti-colic system that involves multiple pieces. Also to note, we use a non-Philips bottle sterilizer and breast pump.
The 1 feature we loved the most was the fact that the nipples allow flow only when our baby is actively sucking. This not only allows the baby to control the flow, but also means less accidental spills when the bottle falls over.
Its wider form made it compatible with the breast pump we were using. This discounted the extra effort of having to pump and transfer to feeding bottles- not to mention less stuff to clean.
The simple anti-colic system meant less parts to take apart, clean/sterilize, keep track of and put together! The anti colic valve does not need to be oriented to be at the top, we have used another brand with a similar valve, that required the valve to be positioned on top to avoid spills. Finger's crossed, our baby has had tummy issues but is not colicky hence, not able to fully comment on the efficacy of the anti-colic system. The lack of issues when switching to Philip's bottle needs to be considered.
The wider form and the ergonomic shape does make these bottles easier to handle.
Based on our setup, going from the slimmer bottles to these wider bottle however, meant slightly less bottles would fit in our sterilizer (this difference is minimal but still something to consider). Also travel wise, wider bottles would equate to a slightly bulkier diaper bag.
Overall these bottle are great and we would gladly recommend them to any parents.
