Philips Avent Natural Baby Bottle

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this baby bottle the from the Stellar Product Testing Panel for my 7 month old daughter to try. The nipple is wide enough to match the shape of her mouth and the tip is long enough to reach the middle of her tongue. My baby was willing to take this bottle pretty quickly once she was hungry and ready to eat. Unfortunately, the size 3 nipple milk flow pace was too fast for my daughter, she did choke a few times during her feeds. We may have to revisit that flow rate when she’s older. I think a slower flow would be better suited for her drinking style. The bottle itself was easy to clean and assemble and my daughter was able to hold it herself while feeding. The bottle came with a lid which is good for storage and the bottle fit in my bottle universal warmer. My daughter only drinks about 5 oz during feeds so the 9 oz bottle was larger than she needed. This bottle is probably more ideal for older babies or babies who drink formula and need higher volume intake. Overall, I am content with the design of the bottle. Thanks again to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this baby bottle.

Great choice for a larger bottle

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wouldn't normally have tried out a larger bottle, but I received this 9oz bottle to try and I'm glad I did. The bottle is a nice, comfortable shape to hold as compared to the smaller bottles we had been using. My husband said he liked the feel in his larger hands (and he does most of the bottle feeding in our house!) The baby seemed very comfortable drinking from the nipple, even though the flow is a bit slower than what she is used to. I think it's good to have a variety of nipple sizes for baby to try, and while I'm not a lactation consultant or expert, it seems to me just intuitively that having a responsive nipple that requires baby to actively suck might help prevent nipple confusion or a preference for the bottle.
My baby usually takes 4-6 ounces at a feeding, so we don't fill the bottle up all the way but a big bonus is that this wide-neck bottle fits perfectly on my pump! So, I can pump into it and then use it to store milk at work. I use the "pitcher method" where I combine milk from all my pump sessions throughout the day, so while I definitely don't pump enough to fill it up at one session, I'm able to combine milk into this bottle and then I don't have to carry as many bottles back-and-forth to work.
If you're looking for a 9oz wide-neck bottle with a comfortable shape, responsive nipple that keeps a breastfed baby actively engaged, and that is simple to take apart and clean, this is a good choice for you.

Great Size

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was so excited to be selected by the Stellar Products Testing Panel to try the Philips Avent Natural Baby Bottle Set with Natural Response Nipple, 9oz. For our older child, we used the smaller bottles and then had to go back and buy larger ones when he got older. For our daughter, it was nice to only have a bottle that we can use from now until she no longer needs a bottle. Our baby did just fine with this nipple, and she seemed to prefer the wider shape, compared to others we have tried. The bottles are SUPER easy to clean and assemble, which is a definite plus!! I will be recommending this Baby Bottle Set to all of our family and friends who are having or have a baby!

Great ergonomic natural flow baby bottle

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was given the Philips Avent Natural baby bottle to test thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel. I used this bottle with my 3 month old daughter who is both breast and bottle fed and she took to this bottle with no issue! The nipple's wide shape and responsive tip mimicked breastfeeding and allowed her to feed at her own pace, same as she is able to while nursing, without the milk just flowing into her mouth. The ergonomic design of this bottle made it easy and comfortable to hold while feeding her. The shape of the bottle and the fact that it is only three pieces, also made it extremely easy to clean. Unlike some bottle nipples, this nipple was easy to clean using only your hands, without the need of special bottle nipple cleaning brushes. The bottle also fit well in the special bottle pockets/insulated pockets of our diaper bag, which made it easy to travel with! Overall, I was very happy using this baby bottle.

Solid bottle

These are a nice easy bottle to use that feel very well made and are easy to clean.
I like the size and design. It feels good and easy to hold.
The one issue we had was our 6 month old has issues getting the last 1/2 ounce out.

Love the bottle

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the shape of this bottle! It doesn’t tip, it’s soft and easy to hold with a wide mouth that’s easy to clean. I also like the wide nipple for that reason as well.
My exclusively breastfed 6mo baby has been refusing bottles despite our attempts with many different bottles and nipples. Unfortunately this one was no exception.
The size 3 nipple was a little too much for him since he doesn’t normally drink from a bottle. But he does love holding the bottle, which he can actually do and chewing on the nipple.
The bottle didn’t leak when I shook up the formula which I appreciated. I would love if he decided to drink from this bottle as it’s been one of the favorites I’ve tried. We’ll keep trying!

Great Bottle for Breastfed Babies

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I tried this Phillips Avent Natural bottle with my breastfed baby as we attempt to get him used to a bottle for when mom isn’t around. After using Phillips brand with my first child, I was excited to try the new natural flow. This bottle has some great features. I liked the no drip design, because the milk didn’t come out without baby sucking, so there was no pooling of milk in his mouth. The nipple we tried was the 1m+, and I thought it was an appropriate flow for my one month old, although I thought a slower flow would allow for better pacing. Since he is still mostly breastfed, I don’t want him to get used to a fast bottle flow. The bottle is super easy to clean, and the wide mouth bottle is great for transferring milk or mixing formula! I will keep using this bottle as we transition to breast and bottle feeding, because it offers great features for breastfed babies! We received this baby bottle to try from the Stellar Product Testing Panel.

An absolute must have

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was love at first sight! The Avent Natural baby bottle makes feeding a breeze for my 6 week old daughter. She is able to control the flow herself and the no drip tip on the nipple ensures a mess free feed. This helpful not only for feeding time but if the bottle is tipped over or even turned upside down it won't leak! Which saves a lot of extra laundry and effort in clean ups. I prefer the size 3 nipple for day time feeds and the size 2 for night time when she is less alert. She has a minor tongue tie and I found she is able to easily and securely latch. I highly recommend this bottle set. Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this baby bottle
