[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got a chance to test out the Philips Avent Natural Baby Bottle Set with Natural Response Nipple, 9oz. from the Stellar Product Testing Panel for my honest opinion and feedback. I have to say that my baby loved these bottles and so did I! The design of the bottle and nipples made it very simple to clean. The nipple flow was just right as my baby was able to control it on her own with her suction. She wasn’t downing like some nipples seem to do. The shape of the bottle was comfortable to hold.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the natural baby bottle 9oz natural nipple product by @philipsavent from @stellarreviewers for free in exchange of an honest review. Currently I am both BF and BF in order to keep up with lack up supply. At first look the nipple of the bottle looks very similar to the anatomical structure of a woman's breast. Which is already different from many other brands of nipples. It was soft to the touch and didn’t have grooves in the design where air bubbles some times at get stuck or formula after a feed which adds to the cleaning process. The bottle is clear and light weight but visibly marked so you can monitor or document how much your little one eats! During feeding, I noticed that when baby would move the bottle would not continue to drip! I loved this as this usually is an issue with other brands. Once baby stops sucking the flow also stops! My baby did not have a hard time transitioning over to this new nipple, which would be the first time use for her. However, she hasn’t had issues with other nipples either so I am unsure if it’s the nipple or if it’s just her being easy going. Bottle has a sleek, modern design and nipple flows can be changed as child grows! It’s gender neutral and my personal preference are clear bottles so I can see how clean they are or aren’t prior to each use. Lastly, one big winner for this bottle and nipple for me was how much my baby did not burp after using this specific bottle!! Less burping means less gas and less spit ups for this baby and her momma! Highly recommended!!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We received the avent natural baby bottle from the Stellar Product Testing Panel. I was a bit skeptical at first because we recently just switched to the avent nipple size 2 and the one we received was a size 3.
I thought it might be to quick of a flow for my 4 month old. He was actually able to control the flow very very well and there was nothing dripping from the sides of his mouth (sometimes this happens if he is not keeping up to the flow of the nipple)
I also noticed that when the bottle was held upside down it did not leak out which was a bonus for when we are travelling around with the bottles in the diaper bag!
The bottle is a nice size and fits in our bag well! Overall great product and would recommend to others searching for a bottle for their babies!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received Philips baby bottle with natural response nipple from Stellar testing panel. I have been using this bottle since last few days. My little one seems to enjoy drinking milk from this bottle. It's easy to go back and forth between breast and this bottle. There is no leakage. It's very easy to clean this bottle.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We recieved the Avent bottles from Stellar Product Testing Panel, they arrived quickly and was packaged well. We had the 9oz bottles, with the size 3 nipple. My daughter had no issues with it at all. The nipple doesn't sink in, get loose, or deflated which means she can continuously eat without having to stop, and it means that we don't have any massive messes and waste of breast milk like we've had with other bottles. I do think that the size 3 nipple flow was a little too slow for her (shes 8 months old), but that is an easy fix and they have different sizes for that reason. These bottles also never caused any gas issues or reflex issues which we struggle with quite often. All in all a wonderful product and I definitely recommend.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall I was impressed with the Natural Response Nipple on the Philips Avent bottle. I received this bottle set as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel and my baby had never used a bottle before. She is 5 months old and exclusively breastfed. I was surprised at how easily she latched onto the bottle the first time and started sucking. She was perfectly content drinking from the bottle for about ten minutes, then got frustrated as she had only gotten about 20 mL of milk out during that time. I think a higher flow nipple would be ideal for her as she is typically a fast drinker. We have the level 3 flow nipple. We have used it several times with the same results. I was impressed with how well she switched back and forth between breastfeeding and the bottle, but was disappointed that she couldn't seem to get much milk out.
I tried out the "no leak nipple" by holding the bottle upside down and shaking it and there really was not a single drop that came out. I like that feature as babies often choke on extra milk that comes out of other bottles when they aren't sucking, which didn't happen a single time for us with this natural response nipple. My daughter also didn't seem to get much extra air while using the bottle and only needed a little burp after drinking.
The bottle was straight-forward to assemble, easy to clean and use, as well as comfortable to hold while feeding. As someone relatively new to bottles, I couldn't find anywhere in the instructions that mentioned whether the air valve on the nipple needs to be aimed a certain direction in order to work properly, but it didn't seem to make a difference so maybe it works any which way.
I would recommend this product for anyone planning to switch between breastfeeding and a bottle, but would recommend trying a faster flow nipple than you think you need.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was very excited to try the bottle thanks Stellar Panel. My baby is very picky about the bottles, but I don’t have enough milk supply, so we tried to get him on mixed feeding. The bottle size is more than enough for a size portion from 0 till 12 months. It also had some unique features I have never seen before, like the nipple shape that mimics breast, it really helped baby to latch and didn’t caused gagging. The baby was able to control the flow of the milk very easily and didn’t swallow lots of air like he did with our previous bottle. The bottle and the nipple are easy to clean and disassemble, which is a nice bonus as well.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall, loved this Natural Baby Bottle with Natural Response Nipple by Phillips Avent.
I’m a Speech-Language Pathologist (with extensive training in feeding and swallowing) with an exclusively breastfed 10 month old. I was looking for a bottle and nipple that emulates breastfeeding and this one fits the bill! Huge thanks to Stellar Product Testing Panel for letting me try this bottle set out!
PROS: safe, breastfeeding and pumping friendly, facilitates feeding independence
The no-drip nipple meant that he never lost milk to dribbles during bottle feeding- no lost pumped milk, what a blessing. Plus he didn’t choke once on it. I also really liked that the nipple was shaped exactly like mine (down to the holes in the tip of the nipple- see pic!) which helped him avoid nipple confusion as he is new to the bottle. No issues switching between breastfeeding and bottle feeding!! I also liked that the bottle was easy for him to hold because we are also working on independence while eating and drinking.
CONS: volume markers were hard to read
The volume markings on the bottle, while a pleasing grey colour, made it hard for me to see beginning and end volumes with a quick glance. A darker colour might be easier for my tired eyes!
Cheers, Phillips Avent on a well-designed product!
