Philips Avent 9 oz Bottle Set

I like the wide shape of the nipple and the no drip nipple design, but the bottles themselves are too big for my one month old baby. She only drinks about 2-3 ounces at each feeding so the 9 ounce bottle is just too big for her right now. These bottles will probably be great when she starts daycare in a couple of months and she’s drinking more at each feeding though!

Philips avent bottles

They wash up nice and are built well. The parts all come apart and go back together easily. Overall these are a well designed bottle with great flow control for my baby.

Great for breastfed babies

I found this bottle to be overall very easy! Easy to clean, easy to assemble, and baby latched easily. I love that it only has 3 pieces, it washed up nicely in the dishwasher, and was quick to assemble. I also love that I can pump right into the bottle, making feeding easier! My baby is a bit picky when it comes to bottles & he latched onto this nipple easily. He did not experience any gas or spit up after eating & seemed comfortable eating from it. I also love how light the bottle is, making it easy to hold while feeding. I have nothing but good things to say about this bottle & will be ordering some more!

THE Optimal Baby Bottle

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We were sent these bottles by Stellar Product Testing Panel in return for our full, honest review. Overall, my baby and I are very satisfied with these bottles! Firstly, the design is fantastic — simple and ergonomic. The bottle material is very durable and thick and the measurement markings are clean and easy to read. The wide nipple design makes cleaning a breeze, in addition to the overall bottle having only 4 parts (if including the lid). This aspect also make the bottles super easy to assemble, which is particularly great during those middle of the night feedings!
The wide nipple is also very ergonomic and personally, I feel it does a great job of mimicking the shape of the breast as we have not experienced any issues with nipple confusion. The nipple’s responsiveness was great once we found the correct flow/size for our baby. I especially loved that the nipple does not leak, therefore allowing baby to control the pace of the milk flow just like they would while breastfeeding.
The only reason I am giving these 4 stars is because finding the correct flow/size for baby was a bit difficult for us. We tried multiple sizes for our one month old and it ultimately came down between size 3 and size 4 — 3 being too slow and 4 being a bit too fast. Also, though this may be a nice feature to prevent leaking, the lids can be quite hard to remove. Not necessarily a con, but something to note.
Overall, we loved these bottles and actually purchased the glass versions to supplement our collection. We greatly appreciate the opportunity to test these as we feel we have found the the optimal bottles for our family!

Nice flow for babies who also nurse

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like the large size of this bottle. It made it easy for me and my baby (8.5 months) to hold it. The parts were easy to clean and put together. It was easy to tell when the nipple was in all the way. I also like that it includes both UK and US measurements on the bottle. My baby is both nursed and bottle fed and the flow of this nipple seemed to satisfy her. She has been able to switch between this bottle nipple and nursing without any difficulty. Babies that are used to a faster flow may not like this nipple. The first time I used it, there was a weird squeaky noise while she suckled, but that hasn’t been present any of the other times I’ve used it. Overall, it’s a great bottle that worked well for us. I received this bottle for free through the stellar product testing panel.

One of the best bottles

The design is great for preventing gas, and baby never has issues latching on, whether breastfed or not. It is easy to clean and doesn't have a billion parts to put back together. Great for breastfed babies

We started with another brand of bottles that my first child took to. He did okay. I received these bottles to test as part of the stellar product testing panel. My
Son at first was confused with the nipple but took it pretty well and had a great feed. We pace feed, as we do not know how much he typically takes. The flow of the nipple was good but maybe not as fast as he would like at first.

The bottle is a simple design, easy to get the nipple in and heat up in our bottle warmer. They are very easy to clean, no extra small holes to get inside and fit my bottle cleaning brush.
The best part of this is it made my son less gassy! We struggle with gas and his latch with breastfeeding and this bottle allowed him to not take in as much air.

Natural Baby Bottle is Naturally Sleek

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the Phillips Avent Natural bottle through Stellar Product Reviews. Upon receiving it and first glance the design was sleek and very ergonomic. I liked the weight of the empty bottle and the curvature of the bottle was comfortable in my hand. It did make for easy toting and storage in the diaper bag pockets. The nipple was soft and I did notice a different shape which I thought was neat. It took my baby a few tries to get the natural flow hang of it, but once she did she realized she could control the flow by how she drank from it. She seemed to be able to hold the bottle easily by holding it. Overall I think the bottle is very ergonomically designed and I like that it’s more natural shaped so she can go from bottle to breast easily.
