My favorite bottle

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Avent has been my favorite bottle brand for many years, I used them almost exclusively with my oldest 16 years ago. So I was very excited when Stellar Panel sent me an Avent Natural bottle with the #3 nipple to try. I love the lightweight design, he’s already able to hold it by himself at 3 months for a few seconds. It’s very easy to clean and the texture of the nipple makes him eager to take it. We did find that the #3 nipple that came with the bottle was a bit too fast for his preference, but the #2 nipple in this brand (also sent to me free from Stellar for review) was just right for him.
The bottle is easy to pack and wash without a lot of extra parts or crevices, but it also doesn’t leak at all if the lid is in place, which is very nice. And it fits inside a standard bottle warmer which ended up being important for us as well.
I also really like the sleek, minimal design that is gender neutral and doesn’t clash with most aesthetics.
My only suggestion for improvement would be either using the lower flow nipple standard with the bottle instead of the #3 or including extra in the lower flow with the bottle itself. Otherwise I could not be happier with this product.

Great for Breastfed babies

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product and review are part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. We’ve used Avant anti Collin the few few months of our babies life. She also breastfeeds and with busy life having a bottle she easy accepts is key. They size of this bottle was great for her growing and demands. She easily accepts the bottle as the nipple and flow are natural like breastfeeding. She has no issues finishing a bottle and with no frustration.
The bottle is also easy to disassemble to clean and easily put back together for ease of use. Highly recommend these for anyone looking for a natural and easy bottle.

Baby likes it

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I tried out this bottle for my newborn, and he took it well. The shape of the bottle is easy to hold and the width of the design makes the bottle easy to clean.
I like and prefer wide nipples as they are closest to nipple/boob shape and help my breastfed baby easily switch between the breast and bottle. This nipple does a great job helping him do just that. Flow seems adequate for him.
Overall I and my baby enjoy using this bottle. The only negative I found of the bottle is that a good bit of milk gets stuck around the inner rim of the lid while feeding and I found myself doing a lot of shaking/maneuvering to get it all down into the nipple. It’s not a huge deal, but it something to note.

Useful for latch issues

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As a mom of a newborn almost a decade after my last I feel brand new when it comes to the business of babies! Though my plan was to exclusively breast feed for at least 6 months, my little one ended up having both a severe upper lip tie & a tongue tie. Thank heavens I was offered the Philips Avent Bottle by Stellar Product Testing Panel because it helped both of us tremendously!
Most of the other bottles I bought had very wide nipples or many parts to assemble while trying to comfort a screaming newborn. I love the ease & simplicity of this design and the quality is amazing. The bottle is not awkward to hold and cleans very easily. Even after steaming to sanitize, the plastic stays clean & clean looking and doesn't get bent out of shape.
The nipple is the only one so far my baby can easily latch and stay latched with. The milk flows smoothly, doesn't leak from anywhere, and the flow 2 nipple is perfect for us at 7 weeks. It truly mimics my breast when it comes to feeds & I'm so grateful it's helped us through our difficulties. I'm now able to switch from bottle to breast comfortably and so happy we can continue our breastfeeding journey.

very nice

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I thought the overall design of this bottle could be improved a bit. I found there to be two issues with this bottle. The design of the bottle created a sort of rim where milk sits on, when the baby is eating. However, when you put the bottle back down, the milk that had been sitting on the rim falls back down. You would need to tilt the bottle in different directions to make sure that your baby is getting all the milk. If they could redesign the bottle so it doesn’t have the rim, it would be great. The milk would flow better down without getting stuck on anything. The second thing I found to be an issue is that the bottle is made from a hard and thicker plastic than the other baby bottles. Because the bottle is thicker, it takes longer for the bottle to warm up. It’s also pretty hard to tell if the milk is too hot because the thicker bottle makes it seem like its not that hot and the nipples are non-drip, so you can’t test it out on your forearm. To be safe, you would either need to stick your finger in the milk or get a syringe and drops on your forearm to test.
I like the wipe shapes and responsive tip. My daughter likes the flow and she can control it where with other bottles, it may drip and cause her to choke when she isn’t ready. I found these bottles to be easy to assemble and clean. I also like the ergonomic shape. Its fits well in my hand. Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this baby bottle.

Philips Avent for the Win

Where has this bottle been all my life, well the last 6 weeks!? The bottle is amazing. I was skeptical at first about how something so simple would work as good as our other bottles, but it surpassed my expectations.
We have a 5-6 week old little boy and have been using another brand of anti-colic bottle. My wife was a NICU nurse and that is what the used at the hospital so that is what we decided to use and they worked great but the formula flows freely which led to some occasional choking. There were also a lot of pieces per bottle, which takes a long time to disassemble, clean, and reassemble.
The Philips Avent bottle with Natural Response Nipple is a life and time saver. Its 3 piece design is easy to clean and assemble. I especially like the no drip design and anti-colic valve. Even when I hold it upside down and shake it, nothing comes out.
Our baby can drink at his own rate without formula constantly dripping and this significantly reduces him choking especially when he's tired and during dream feeds. The Natural Response Nipple only flows when he's latched on and sucking. The wide nipple shape makes it very easy to latch on and the ergonomic bottle shape is easy to hold.
I also like that they offer a variety of nipple flow rates, bottle sizes, colors and even glass bottles.
We will definitely be switching over to the Philips Avent bottle with Natural Response Nipple going forward.

Great bottle

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My baby has been exclusively breastfed for 4 months, but I wanted to introduce a bottle for the occasional date night or special occasions. I really liked these bottles because the natural shape of the nipple and the ability for the baby to control the flow. I thought it was going to be difficult to introduce the bottle, but thanks to Philips Avent Natural, my baby took it right away! The bottle itself has a nice easy hold design, and there aren’t a bunch of pieces to wash. Definitely made bottle feeding a positive experience! Thanks to the Stellar Testing Panel for providing me with this baby bottle set!

Wonderful bottle

I have used Philips Avent products in the past and when the opportunity arose to test this one, I had to jump on it. The bottle is very simple. Other bottles I have used have many parts to reduce air and improve baby’s eating. This bottle Amy’s a wider mouth and is way simpler to use. Less parts to wash is always great. My baby is 8 months and is still using a level 1 nipple. This is still the perfect flow for him and matches my flow. I don’t think he needs a bigger flow to eat quicker. This bottle in shorter than other baby bottles so it can fit in smaller spaces. It is wider because of the height but I still enjoy its sizing. Overall, great product and would recommend!
