Best bottles for breastfed babies

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My 7 month old baby girl is breastfed and absolutely refused to take a bottle when she started daycare (I’m talking from 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. without eating). She came home fussy, hungry, and woke up at night to catch up on the feedings she was refusing during the day. I was super hopeful when these bottles came in and I was right to be. She took the first one she was offered and has been drinking from these ever since. We love how these bottles are designed, they’re super easy to clean and to put together. There’s only 4 components to put together and take apart. Our baby really responded well to the flow of milk from the nipple, it stops when she stops and the flow isn’t so fast that she chokes or has to stop. She is just as happy to get her milk from these bottles as she is to nurse from the breast. We love these bottles. Our baby girl now comes home fed and happy after daycare every day, which is why I had to give it five stars. Can’t thank the Stellar Product Testing Panel enough for sending me this baby bottle set.

What happened to the old style nipples

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I first found out I was receiving these bottles in exchange for my honest review from Stellar Product Testing Panel I was very excited. We had used Avent bottles for our first child 3 years ago and they were our favorites. Unfortunately, that is no longer the case. They have changed the design of their nipples and our newest baby just can't seem to get the hang of them after numerous tries. They seem to collapse. He struggled and took a very long time to get through half of a 6 oz bottle. I think the biggest issue is that the flow of the nipple is 1 month. Why send a 1 month flow nipple when the bottle is a large 9 oz bottle?!!! If I'm going to continue using these I'm going to have to try 6 month+ size. That's very unfortunate for those purchasing this set of larger bottles to then have to turn around and buy faster flow nipples! I think that the next size or 2 up should also be included along with this 3 bottle set for more versatility.
Now the good- I love the blue color for our little boy. The bottle is also very easy for little hands to hold on their own which is great since our 7 month old now very much wants to hold it himself. There aren't a lot of pieces to this bottle so they're easy to hand clean or put right in the dishwasher.

The flow rate of milk they get from the nipple is linked to how enthusiastically or steadily they drink as they develop. Enthusiastic drinkers use a strong suction and compression while drinking, resulting in greater milk flow, so they usually need a lower nipple flow from the Natural Response range (such as nipple number 1 or 2) to avoid overflow. Slow and steady drinkers are likely to prefer a higher nipple flow (such as nipple 4 or 5), to ensure enough milk flows, regardless of age. You might need a higher flow if you see your baby struggling to get milk out, or playing with the nipple. Great bottles but depends on nipple shape

These bottles are great, I’ve used them with all three of my kids. The flow is great, no choking, and they hold up well in the dishwasher or with a biter. The one thing I do have to mention is that my kids seem to slightly prefer flat nipples (i guess my nipples must be flat lol) over these rounded ones. While we did have good acceptance of these bottles/nipples, just be aware that if your nipples are slightly flatter or if your kids tend to mush your nipples they may not loveeee these.

A pleasant surprise

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was pleasantly surprised by how fast my baby took to this bottle. I have a 7 month old who had been exclusively breastfed fed until this point. We have been wanting to start combo feeding and so we tried these bottles with mixed formula and breast milk. Now in the past he was very picky with bottles - we only found one other that he took to. To our surprise he drank it down right away! So now we use these and have already ordered more. He had an upper lip tie we didn’t choose to correct and this fits him well. I would say this would be best for breast fed babies!

Picky baby nice bottle

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I swear my baby changes her bottle and pacifier preference weekly so it was nice to try a different bottle as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. These held nicely in my hand and I thoroughly enjoyed being able to see how many ounces I was filling as it’s well labeled unlike some other brands. Also I’ve noticed on other brands, it can be hard to take the top cover off when you’re trying to use the bottle and it came off easily with one hand when I’m holding baby in the other. My baby tends to chug when she drinks and the nipples seemed a little slow for her so she did get frustrated, but the milk didn’t go everywhere when it was upside down-big win, less mess! Also easy to clean the bottle and nipple with a standard bottle brush and they fit in my Philips bottle sterilizer no problem. I would give this a 5 star if I had the next size nipple (6+ months) but overall am happy with the Philips Avent Natural Baby Bottle!

9oz Phillips Avent Natural Baby Bottles

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The 9 oz Phillips Avent Natural Baby Bottle pack we received from the Stellar Product Testing Panel was a hit for our household. I like the wide bottle size - easy to grip in the many ways our baby likes to drink.
I like how easy to clean the bottle are and when you only have one hand they are very simple to put together.
My only con for this pack was the size 3 nipples appeared to at times shrivel up in the middle of the feeding. As if all the air had been sucked out of the bottle. Something I hadn’t had happen with other nipples. Seemed like it affected the amount of milk baby got.

Easy for baby to control flow

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My 7 month old had been using low flow bottles prior to this so I was unsure how a different flow would go for my daughter, but the bottle worked great! My child could control the flow of the bottle easily and the shape made it easy for her to hold herself with her small hands. I noticed less sucking noises and less spit up after using these bottles! I was provided the 9oz Philips Avent Natural Baby Bottle With Natural Response Nipple, Pink- 3 pack from Stellar Product Testing Panel, but after trialing them I went and bought some more because I loved them so much! Now they are the only bottle I use!

Great Bottle for my Breastfed Baby

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Between my three babies, I’ve tried a lot of bottles. The Phillips Avent Natural Bottle has been a favorite for our family. The bottle is easy to assemble - just three pieces plus a lid and easy to clean which is key. There is enough to do when caring for a baby - spending forever cleaning and assembling bottles isn’t something I want to be doing. My daughter is breastfed and received bottles of breastmilk when at school. She has done a great job of going from breast to bottle and back again. We started with the 0 level flow and have worked our way up to a faster level as she has gotten bigger. She took to this bottle quickly and we don’t have any issues with the nipple collapsing during feeds. The design of the bottle is comfortable to hold, the wide mouth makes cleaning easy and the bottle fits in our cupholders which is great if she is getting a bottle when we are out and about. I have purchased a second set of bottles so we always have a set ready to prep for the next day.
