Design flaw

I loved these bottles with my first child, so when I had my second child I got another set and have regretted it. The new nipple design has such a slow flow, my kid gets frustrated and gives up on the bottle. I was hoping to be able to pump and switch off overnight feeds with my husband, but definitely can’t until we find a bottle that works.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Our new Natural Response Nipple lets your baby use their natural drinking rhythm, like they do when breastfeeding. While age is a guide, we recommend watching your little one’s cues to find the best nipple flow. We designed the nipple range to work for all different drinking patterns, from fast and enthusiastic to slow and steady. The Natural Response Nipple is available in nipple flows 1 to 5. The flow rate of milk they get from the nipple is linked to how enthusiastically or steadily they drink as they develop. Enthusiastic drinkers use strong suction and compression while drinking, resulting in greater milk flow, so they usually need a lower nipple flow from the Natural Response range (such as nipple number 1 or 2) to avoid overflow. Slow and steady drinkers are likely to prefer a higher nipple flow (such as nipple 4 or 5) to ensure enough milk flows, regardless of age. You can start with the nipple that comes with the bottle and adjust from there. If after a few feeding attempts you have no success, consider changing to a different nipple flow. You might need a higher flow if you see your baby struggling to get milk out or playing with the nipple.

The best bottle!

This time, I plan to both breastfeed and bottlefeed and wanted the best chance to do it right! Receiving these bottles will help me do just that! On first looks, I am impressed with their design. They look like they will serve me well for a long time, especially since they are a larger bottle size. They are simple design, but the no drip nipple seems like it will be great for feeding! I look forward to trying these out in only a few short weeks with my newborn!

Recreating the breastfeeding experience

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) Ive nursed my little one ever since she was born and the journey to transition her to the bottle has been all but easy. Philip Avent Natural baby bottle has been wonderful to help her get accustomed to feeding from a bottle.
From the shape to the features of the bottle nipple, I love that it recreates the experience as if she were at the breast. Its unique and innovative opening responds to the drinking motion of her tongue so milk is only released when shes actively drinking. When she pauses to swallow, the milk stops flowing. She controls the pace, just like breastfeeding. She also likes to play and throw the bottle all around so the no drip nipple helps to make feeds mess-free!

Its perfect for babies

Love these bottles!

Especially for a breast fed baby they mimic the natural flow of the breast and even my baby who is very picky with bottles really enjoys these ones. They also dont leak all over baby and I also love the lid for travel. Definitely recommend them.

Great baby bottle

I also appreciate that thought was put into the nipple design to mimic the shape and feel of a breast, which makes feeds easier for mom and babies who do combination breast and bottle feeding.
