easy to feed and easy to clean

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this baby bottle. I enjoyed using this with my little one as a supplemental bottle feed for expressed milk and to give my husband a chance to feed and bond. The design and nipple made the flow and feeding process at baby’s pace and I didn’t have to worry about feeding too fast or aspirating lots to cause gas bubbles. Bonus point for how easy it is to clean and air dry. Can’t wait for my little one to be able to hold the bottle and feed themselves!

Great Bottle Choice

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We send these bottles to daycare with my almost 8 month old and they are a success! The bottle is easy for him to hold, and so far he has done well with the nipple flow (feeding himself without choking). Also easy to assemble and no leaks! My son is also breastfed, and he has had no issue taking this bottle. I received this baby bottle set from the Stellar Product Testing Panel.

Best bottle ever

I love that there aren’t many parts to them and my baby loves the ability to control her milk pace. I will never use a different bottle again. Her smile says it all!

All around great bottle

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the Philips Avent Natural bottle! It’s only four parts that are so easy to clean. I just need my one normal bottle brush to get everything and no little special tools or pipe cleaners are necessary. It’s very easy to put it all together too. The nipple is more like the real thing, and my LO had no issues using it, I’m sure thanks in part to the responsive tip. We never had problems with gas though, so I can’t speak to its effectiveness on helping with that. The size and shape of the bottle help enable her to hold it on her own. I have nothing but good things to say and know we’ll be using it for the rest of her bottle career! Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing this bottle for us to try.

Great Rec for Co fed Babies

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This brand and style bottle was a first for me, and honestly I was skeptical. But having received it as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel,I was more than willing to give it a try.
I have always used more traditionally designed bottles with smaller nipples, but I could see why this “natural” style draws appeal being designed to mimic the breast (especially having switched back and forth between breast and bottle with my first child). Now, having a baby who is bottle fed only, the design actually worked against him. He could not latch properly and needed help correcting it around the wide nipple shape. It was encouraging that the natural flow of the nipple itself seemed comfortable for him (used level 4 for a 9m baby), and he managed holding the hourglass shaped bottle easier than a more traditional style. I also appreciated the simplicity of assembly and disassembly, loving how quickly I could get them washed and ready for another feeding.
Ultimately, this design did not work for us, but I feel pretty confident it would be a great pick for a combined breast/bottle fed baby and give it 4 out of 5 star review.

Would absolutely recommend

I was worried he wouldn’t take a bottle but he took the Avent bottles with no fuss! I was able to control the pace of the feedings and switch the nipple when needed. The bottles are also very easy to clean!

Philips Avent Natural Bottle and Nipple

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the Philips Avent Natural Bottle and Natural Nipples (3) as a part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. I was really excited about this bottle because of the way it looked and the nipple being recommended from lactation consultants, but unfortunately this bottle has a few issues and I won't be purchasing any more.
Pros: I liked the look of the bottle and that it was clear to see how much is left as my baby is drinking. My baby also loved the flow of the nipple, the faster flow was great for my 9.5 month old!
Cons: First, lots of air bubbles were building up in the bottle as my baby was drinking the formula. Second, we don't have a bottle warmer, we just use hot water from the sink, and the water seeped into the bottle cap, so when I took the cap off to feed it to my baby, warm water spilled everywhere. Also, the bottle cap is very large and hard to take off with one hand - which is necessary because typically my other hand is holding my baby. Last, I'm sure all of the measurement options on the side of the bottle are helpful for some, but for me it was just overwhelming and confusing. I kept missing the hash mark for 6 U.S. fluid ounces, as it was just above the mark for UK fluid ounces.
Like I said, I wanted to love this bottle, but for now we will be sticking with our existing brand.

Great Product

I've always had a difficult time with bottle feeding. My baby is 4 months old and is mostly breastfed, except for when he's at daycare during the week. We've recently had to incorporate formula into his diet due to a food allergy, hence the need for more bottles.
The Philips Avent Natural Baby Bottle (flow 3) made for an easy transition. The nipple made it easy for him to intake the milk at a good pace while limiting air intake, which is something he's struggled with when drinking from other types of bottles.
In comparison with other brands we've tried, the bottle materials feel high quality and are easy to disassemble for cleaning.
Overall, we're happy and we will definitely be purchasing more of these bottles to have on hand!
