Still the Best

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Advent bottles have stood the test of time in my family. We first used these bottles 15 years ago and continue to be impressed with their quality and design today. These bottles are comfortable to hold and are shaped perfectly for babies who are eager to hold their own bottles. The nipple is excellent, as it does not allow milk to flow unless baby is sucking due to the responsive tip. No leaking! The flow rates listed on the nipples have been spot on for each age, and they provide just the right amount of output. This is especially important for those babies with reflux issues. The wide nipple design also allowed for a seamless transition from breast to bottle when that became necessary for us. As a bonus, these bottles are extremely easy to wash, sterilize and reassemble. I will always recommend Advent bottles to new parents, as their quality and functionality are far superior to other brands. I received this baby bottle set from the Stellar Product Testing Panel.

High Quality and Easy to Clean Bottle System

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Both of my children have been breastfed, then combo-fed, then fully switched to formula around 9 months. However, their feeding journeys varied slightly in that while my oldest started switching between bottle and breast from birth, my youngest was a down-to-the-wire-I'm-going-back-to-work-and-you-can't-bring-my-boobs-with-you-to-daycare mess. Through both of these experiences, I truly believe you have to find a feeding system that works for 1) YOU and 2) your kids and then go with it.
Unfortunately, it took us a long time to "go with it" for my youngest.
Thank you SO much to Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with the Philips Avent baby bottle set to try out. I actually tried these bottles prior to testing for Stellar, when I was desperate to find something my baby would use (hello! You NEED to eat!) and I was immediately drawn to the Natural Response Nipple in hopes it would make the transition from breast to bottle easier. For him, it didn't. He hated it.
When I was gifted these bottles now that he was older and well-accustomed to bottle feeding (using just the one system we finally found and stuck with) I was nervous. Would he throw a fit like he had at 3 and 4 months? NOPE. He loved this bottle.
I did, too. As an older baby (9 months), these larger bottles held enough milk for his larger appetite. He was able to easily hold the bottle for himself and found tipping the bottle for the last drops easy. We were probably using a nipple flow that was too low for our 9 month old but he didn't seem to mind as he was able to control the pacing easily. I appreciate that there are different flow nipples that you can try out based on your child's age/strength/interest. I'm not sure having 5 different flow nipples (Levels 0-4) is necessary as who wants to sort through different nipples when you're quickly trying to get a bottle for a hungry baby, but if that's what works for your kid, go for it.
The bottles and nipples were very durable and high-quality. They were easy to clean with no strange nooks and crannies in the nipple and ring. I really loved that these bottles did not leak when traveling. We knew that we could grab a bottle, toss it in the bag and run out the door without later finding a leaky mess or a half-empty bottle.
I particularly enjoyed the ease of pairing these bottles with the Philips Avent bottle sanitizer. A friend gifted me her sanitizer and I loved that I could use these Philips Avent bottles with a compatible sanitizer without the bottles/nipples sliding around or getting warped.

Great for breast fed babies

As a new mom, I can honestly say that I still don’t know what I’m looking for in bottles aside from whether my baby will take them or not. So far, my baby has taken one specific brand until now! He loves the Avent Natural Flow bottles. They hold a good amount of liquid and he can easily hold the bottle. The shape and size of these bottles are perfect for his little hands which means, he isn’t constantly dropping his bottle. What I like most is the fact that he is a breast fed baby and with that in mind, the Avent natural nipples create the same mouth shape that it would on the breast (lips flanged, comfortable suck) therefore, it is comfortable for him. Granted, he could use a faster flow nipple. This bottle is definitely slow flow so I recommend swapping out out the nipples for the correct flow, that is, if your baby needs a faster flow. Interestingly, even with a slow flow nipple, he is still happy with this bottle. In addition, I did not experience any leakage and baby did not experience any grassiness. I will most certainly be using these bottles, purchasing more, and giving them as gifts as well. Highly recommend! Thanks, Stellar!

Natural flow and easy to clean

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was given this baby bottle set to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. This Avent bottle set features 3 bottles with a sleek and simple design. I love that these bottles only have 4 parts (including the lid), so they are extremely easy to clean and assemble. The natural response nipples that come with this bottle set were great for my baby. My baby is bottle and breastfed so I am always looking for a bottle that has a flow similar to the breast. I thought this bottle did a good job of that because the natural response nipples don’t drip and baby is able to choose the speed at which the milk comes out based upon their feeding style. The level 3 nipple that came with these bottles was the perfect flow rate for my 5 month old. I definitely recommend this bottle set for those who are searching for a bottle for their breastfed baby.

Perfect for supplementing breastfed baby

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My 9 month old daughter is mostly breastfed, but takes bottles at daycare or when I am not with her. The 9oz Philips Avent Natural Baby Bottle With Natural Response Nipple size 3 that I received as a member of the Stellar Product Testing Panel is perfect for her! The flow of the nipple seems to be fast enough that she doesn't get frustrated, but slow enough that it doesn't flood her. She transitions easily from this bottle to breast and back. As always, I'm happy with Philip Avent's products. The bottle is easy to clean, with only 3 parts (plus the cap, but I don't always use that). I really like the pink hue of these bottles! My daughter is able to hold this bottle on her own, which is a huge help. I am also able to connect this directly to my pump that takes wide-mouth bottles. This is super convenient and cuts down on the number of dishes I have to do.

Great bottles for my girl

This is not the brand we had been using but we are very happy with these. My daughter seemed to like them and got a great grip on the bottle. It does make an interesting sucking noise while she was drinking but it didn’t bother her or myself. The flow seems to be perfect for her- no struggling and didn’t seem too fast. We are happy with these bottles and will definitely keep using them!

Perfect Bottle

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is really the perfect bottle. I love that it is compatible with my breast pump and I can pump directly into the bottle. It is easy to clean as it doesn’t have many parts and the bottle has a wide neck which is handy for cleaning. My 9 month old loves this bottle. He is able to self pace and control the flow. He can also hold it himself, which he couldn’t do with the bottles we previously used. Thanks to Stellar Product Testing Panel for sending us this product. We love these bottles!

Natural Baby Bottle with Response Nipple

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the 9oz Philips Avent Natural Baby Bottle With Natural Response Nipple as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel and used them with my 5 month old daughter. While we loved the bottles, the nipples required an adjustment for her. The bottles were easy to clean, with clear measurements and easy to transport. My daughter had challenges with the nipples at first - with the flow rate and the need to suck to get the milk. After a few tries, she was no longer fussy during bottle time and enjoyed her bottle time!
