My favorite baby bottles

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the simple and modern design of the Philips Avent Natural baby bottles. The bottles are attractive, comfortable to hold and SUPER EASY to assemble together even for first time parents. No complicated baby bottles with a ton of parts - only a bottle, ring, nipple and cap. I am on baby #2 now and had used the older model of the Philips Avent Natural baby bottles with my first. Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this baby bottle set.
I am currently nursing and pumping & bottle feeding my baby and like that the nipple on these bottles mimicks breastfeeding. The nipple is designed to only release milk when the baby actually drinks instead of letting milk drip out. I used these bottles early on in my breastfeeding journey because I was concerned about "nipple confusion" and had wanted to nurse and also bottle feed too. With bottle feeding, I can see how much milk my baby drinks and also allow her dad or another caregiver to feed and bond with baby as well.
The size of this baby bottle set is perfect. It is 9 oz and comes with a flow 3 nipple. The natural response nipples on these bottles are different from the old nipple design. I think flow 3 is more like the old version of the size 1 nipple which is for 1m+ old babies. The flow 3 nipples on this set is too slow for my baby as she is currently 7 months old and was never a strong drinker. I do like that the nipple doesn't leak milk which is less messy and there's a decreased chance of overfeeding. I found that the flow 5 nipple for 6m+ olds works best for my baby as she needed a faster flow. I want to mention that the old model and current nipples and bottles are interchangeable with each other.
Another feature that I really like is that the bottles fit my pump flanges! I love that I can pump directly into the bottle instead of bags and also use the bottles as storage. I purchase the Philips Avent sealing discs separately and use them to store my breast milk in the bottle which has a large 9 oz capacity.
One con about the bottle is the numbers on the side are a bit hard to read. While the current bottle design is more attractive, the older version was easier to read due to the larger bright blue font. The current version has a smaller light gray font and I need to bring the bottle closer to see how many ounces of milk is left.
I highly recommend the Philips Avent Natural baby bottles for parents looking for a bottle similar to breastfeeding that is also easy to assemble and easy to clean. I use these bottles multiple times a day and am so happy with them. The bottles also last long and hold up well and I sterilize them everyday.

Better than the rest

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As a first time parent I found the amount of bottle and nipple options available overwhelming. When it came time to choose for our daughter I just went with whatever she would take first. As time went on though I started to wonder if there was a better option for us. I was given Philips Avent Natural Baby Bottle Set with Natural Response Nipple, 9oz to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. I must say that I was amazed at the difference this bottle set made. The no-drip tip was a game changer for us. She was able to comfortably control the flow without spilling milk all over the place! The shape of the nipple with the flow groves seems to be the key to this magic. The bottle itself is thoughtfully designed and so easy to hold that our 9 month old can do it herself. And as if we weren't impressed enough, they are super easy to clean! My dish washing and laundry have easy been cut in half just by switching to this set! There's no going back to our old set up and I will be recommending these to anyone looking for a smooth bottle transition.

Great bottles

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have been using the 4oz Avent Natural baby bottles and was so excited to receive the 9oz bottle from Stellar Product Testing Panel to try! We have already been using the Flow 3 nipples on the 4oz bottles for my 7 month old. We exclusively breastfeed when I'm at home, and my baby has no issues switching between breast and bottle when I have to go to work. The bottle itself has a wide opening that is easy to clean, and I love the grey on the clear bottle because it just looks more clean and classic. We don't use the 9oz bottle as often as the 4oz because my baby doesn't drink more than 4 oz at a time, but this size is probably great for babies who has a bigger appetite, .

Best bottle

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It is almost as if Stellar Product Testing Panel knew exactly what we needed! We needed a new bottle for Passover and they delivered in a big way. The bottle is great. We absolutely love them. From the East to hold shape, to the relatively easy to assemble/disassemble for cleaning pieces, we’re big fans. My son prefers a more freely flowing nipple, so the nipples with higher flows work better for him.
We like the fact that the profile of the nipple makes our little one feel (or so we assume) like he’s drinking from a breast. Also really like the fact that he can hold the bottles himself. Overall a fantastic bottle with cute and nice design and love the fact that there are so many interchangeable flow options so we can find the right nipple for our little one!

Best Bottles Hands Down

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product through the Stellar Product Testing Panel. This bottle has been nothing short of amazing. It has grown with my baby from birth up until now. My baby was premature so feeding was a challenge in the beginning stages until I came across the Philip avents bottles. It was the perfect substitute and it mimicks an actual breast so effortlessly due to the nipple’s wide shape . Up until now my baby won’t take milk from any bottle except the Philip’s avent so I’m always excited to try these. At first when my baby first arrived prematurely it was important to have a bottle that won’t continue to leak and over flow when my baby stops drinking as he was slow paced when feeding. However, now that he’s a few months older, he can easily get distracted and stop drinking and I love that doesn’t choke on milk while distracted or milk is not wasted when he stops feeding to stare at the tv or other objects due to the responsive tip. My entire rack is full of Philip’s Avents bottles it’s just perfect flow and overall great for my baby.

The bottle your babe needs to try

Although I don’t think a different nipple flow is needed, I’d be interested to see how a different nipple would better suit my baby's drinking style.

Great choice

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was given this baby bottle to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. My baby liked the shape of the bottle because it narrowed slightly where her hands go, so it was easier for her to hold as she ate. I enjoyed the simplistic design of the bottle, too. I liked that there was no coloring on it. I do feel that 9 oz is slightly too big since my baby only has 6 oz bottles, at the most. The wide shape of the nipple worked great and I felt it resembled the breast which is perfect since my daughter is breastfed and only given a bottle at childcare. As for the flow of the nipple, the size 3 that came with the bottle didn’t work the best for my daughter since she is 9 months old and needs a faster flow. But there are additional flow speeds, and I think a 4 or 5 flow speed would have been better. I did like how it made her work to get the milk and that helped her pace herself well. When she uses other bottles, her daycare provider needs to pace feed her, but that is not the case with this bottle! Again, this is similar to the breast, and what she is most used to! I enjoy that there are so few pieces to clean and the assembly is so easy! Other bottles have additionally parts that need to be cleaned or used for the bottle to work properly and that can be very frustrating. So the fewer parts to this bottle was a win for me! Additionally, the bottle was easy to clean. The wide bottle neck made it so I could easily get a brush in there to clean the bottle.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We are so grateful that the Stellar Product testing panel sent me this larger bottle for free! For night feeds my daughter is eating 7oz at a time. I love the Philips Avent Natural Baby Bottle With Natural Response Nipple. We ended up purchasing more right away! My daughter did have a little trouble with the size 4 nipple. We went back to the size 3. She is 4 months old. As a mom I LOVE that these bottles don't leak. At all. Even if you drop one!
