Great unit so far.

Just have had it a few weeks so far. Easy to assemble, started right away. But you do need to run the gas for a while to get the air out of the line to get the flame right. The only thing is we have a small dent in the stainless base cover. Maybe you could send us a replacement? Other than that, my wife has always want one and this seems to be a great one.

Nice product - first assembly step was difficult.

Once assembled, this is a very nice and sturdy heater. As others reported, though, the directions could use more detail. The most difficult step is #1 - attaching the wheels to the unit. In particular, attaching the "fixed mount" to the "wheel brackets" requires a fair amount of force to make everything come together. I was worried that I was going to cut myself against the sharp metal if the unit slipped during this step. Once I figured out this step, the rest of the assembly was straight forward and I'm pleased with how it turned out.

Looks Great and Solidly Built

My old, high-end heater finally quite after 11 years of faithful service (with routine maintenance & repairs) so I decided to replace it with a top of the line FireSense model. I did a lot of research and although many heaters look the same, it became very obvious that the details matter. This Pro Series heater is very well made with high quality materials and the workmanship is excellent. Assembly was very easy and took less than the hour stated in the instructions. Once it was put together, it fired right up and functions flawlessly covering my entire patio with warm radiant heat. The wheels work surprisingly well compared to my last heater and stainless finish is a welcome improvement over the dull, faded paint on my old unit. I actually prefer the tank cover that lifts off vs the door that my old model had - it's very easy to change tanks and will be less prone to damage over time. I'm looking forward to many years of service from this well built heater.

One draw back only!

This is my 3rd Firesense patio heater purchase. Spent the extra money for the special series. Stainless is definitely worth it. Assembly instructions could be better (wheels take some common sense but are not spelled out correctly). Only complaint is that I don’t understand why the upgraded version doesn’t have handles to life the cover for gas refill! My older versions all have handle holes and jury is yet to be out on the battery start (which my older and less expensive versions do not have). Base and two of the 4 hood plates were bent but based on experience so minor that I know it will happen anyway so didn’t call customer service to replace. Hopefully this unit holds up like the others but worked like a dream as soon as it was together.

Solid heat coverage

Bought this a few days ago after much research; so far it looks like I made the right choice. Product is easy to assemble and fired up instantly on the first push of the igniter. Appears to put out a significant amount of heat and looks great on the fire pit patio - will extend heat to farthest reaches and supplement the gas fire pit.

I have had this heater for about two months. The assembly was easy. The instructions were clear. The performance is everything I had hoped for. Be aware this is a large unit. I recommend assembling it near where it will be used. It is also tall (a good thing). I purchased a cover for extra protection from the elements. I do secure the unit with lanyards when expexting high winds. A tip: When moving it over uneven surfaces like flagstone pull the unit rather than pushing it. Great buy!
