I love the style of Skagen watches; I have been wearing them for over 20 years. However, I have noticed a decline in quality over the years--my first Skagen lasted me about a decade, now I'm lucky to get more than 2 or 3 years out of one. The last two that I have had had leather bands and when the bands wore out I was not able to get properly sized replacements, thereby rendering the whole watch useless. This is the first mesh-band watch I have had in a while, and I was pleased to see that they have given more notches for sizing (I have small wrists, and previously I was not able to tighten them enough). Time will tell (hah) how this model holds up, but in general I am not enthused about buying products that have such a limited lifespan. If Skagen can't improve on their quality, or offer a range of replacement bands that covers all of their products, I will be looking elsewhere.
The Skagen model I have is your basic watch face....simple. No dates you can't see, no 50 meter water marks on the side, just for telling time and not worrying when you take it in the shower. Best kind of watch for me.
This is a replacement for a Skagen steel mesh watch, the mesh on which broke in less than 6-months use. Gave Skagen another chance, because I have worn other Skagen models for years with no problems. Forget having Skagen responding re warranty.
I JUST LOVE,LOVE THIS WATCH! i LOVE THE WAY IT LOOKS, THE GOLD AND SILVER BLEND BEAUTIFULLY TO GIVE IT A VERY SPECIAL AND EXPENSIVE LOOK. i ALSO LOVE IT'S LOW PROFILE: IT LIES FLAT ON THE WRIST, AND ALMOST BLENDS WITH THE SKIN. IT'S CLASSY AND ELEGANT AND CAN BE WORN FOR ALL OCCASIONS.
I love this Skagen two toned watch. It goes well with both silver and gold. I have a small wrist and it fits me well. I smashed my last exact one recently when biking and with no question ordered the exact watch. Thank you Skagen!
Really pretty watch face and a beautiful rose gold color! I forgot how awkward to get on metal wristbands were but am getting the knack after a few days.
